My wife got the chimichanga and as soon as she cut into it a pool of oil came out of it. Way to much grease and pretty much ruined the chimichanga. I got the beef burrito and 2 tamales and it was great! There jalapeno rice and beans were good and so were the mashed potatoes. I also was impressed with there spicy salsa! I love to try different Mexican restaurants salsa and there's was excellent. The house margaritas were well made too. It wasn't just all mixer and actually had a nice kick to it! The menu had them priced at 5.99 tho and my ticket was billed 6.99. I felt if the menu was mistaken they should have honored what the menu said and corrected there menu, but its only 2 dollars so I paid it. Overall a good experience tho.
Nothing to write home about. The beef fajitas tasted like $1 eye round that had been cooked to be mushy instead of tender, and then microwaved again.Most Mexican places can do fajitas decently, and I'm not a picky eater. I usually don't care if it's made with cheap steak or skirt steak, but cheap eye round is not it. Even skirt steak would be better and is just as cheap.They try to cover it up with the sweet marinade but the fajitas were just not enjoyable, and I love fajitas. I will even eat fajitas at Chili's and On the Border, but I prefer authentic fajitas. This was just not fajitas. Not authentic or tex-mex.Tasted more like a beef and onions dish we southern americans sometimes make with eye round and potatoes/rice... after it had been left over for a few days. :(Service was very nice and polite, and quick. Salsa and chips were not the worst, but not great, that's a standard for many latin cuisine restaurants in OK.
Been enjoying Alvarado's for over 20 years. Can't beat the local, delicious food. Skip the chain food and enjoy Alvarado's.

The waitress was super friendly and kept our drinks filled , while making sure we had everything we needed. The food was good! The jalapeño rice and Frijoles Rancheros was on point!! You will be full for sure when you leave. I will definitely be back and be recommending this business to others.
One of our favorite places to eat. We usually get there in the early afternoon and always get seated quickly. We like the friendly staff, good food in a relaxed atmosphere.

Got curbside delivery, food was hot and just excellent when I got it home. These folks are doing it right.

We sat down right away. And our waitress was very friendly and helpful. We've never been here but the food was really good and affordable. I would definitely come back.
