Completely bland gravy. Just about anywhere is better than here including waffle House and Braums. But the portions are fairly decent size of a steam business because the way people eat in this country
I was very pressed for time on this particular morning, but I would rather risk being late than going hungry all day. Nevertheless I decided to stop into this location and I was not disappointed at all. My server took excellent care of me. I ordered french toast, scramble eggs, bacon, and sliced tomatoes. The food was great and cooked to my specifications. I highly recommend this place if you have never been. You won't be disappointed.

Everything about this place is perfect: the food, the music, the atmosphere, the staff. If you're my age (thirty-cough, cough), I expect you would love the vibe here. Let me just say that the french fries here are so good that I didn't even need to put ketchup or gravy on them. Yes, I dip my fries in gravy sometimes. Don't judge me. If you want to have a good day, come eat at The Big Biscuit first. I forgot to get a picture of the amazing food before I scarfed it down, but here's a picture of the fluffiest, tastiest biscuit I've ever tasted.

Wife and I had the Traditional Eggs Benedict this morning. The sauce had a vinegar flavor that was a little strong for us and this is a breakfast item we love. We asked for a little extra sauce and were charged an extra $3 charge for a few tablespoons extra of sauce. This charge was a first for us in all the years we have enjoyed this meal at many, many restaurants. This charge added an additional 20% to our ticket and unfortunately we paid for it without tasting it first. We will be sticking with Black Bear Diner for future Eggs Benedict breakfasts.
I've never been to a big biscuit before today but, it will be a new habit of mine. I ordered the 3 car pile up and the bigger big breakfast on the recommendation of the staff. It was excellent! The service was fast and friendly, the food was hot, fast, and really good. My favorites for breakfast are the biscuits and gravy and breakfast potatoes. I'll be back to sample their lunch menu for sure.
Not a place to go for the little eater. A meal from here will fill-up the hungriest appetite...lots of food...Wife had Cinnamon roll pancakesI had a full order of 'skits & gravy w/ a side of bacon....

My first experience with this place was fantastic. I'm giving 4 stars because the wait was a little long. The pancakes are a definite must have. They say on the menu "plate sized pancakes." I figured saucer size. I was shocked when the plate was bigger than a dinner plate and had 2 humongous plate sized pancakes. I had to share with my friend to get it all gone. So worth the money and wait. Very friendly staff and atmosphere
