So after many months of hearing Tandori Guys was yummy I gave it a try tonight. It was sooooo good! I will absolutely be back!We orderedSpinach PakoraPaneer NaanGarlic NaanChili FishTandori ChickenIt was served with rice, papadum, and some delicious dipping sauces! It was all sooo flavorful, not too spicy (I could have handled more for sure!) and so light but filling.I will absolutely be back! Our waitress was very friendly and attentive as well.$45 including tax and we both took food home! Can’t wait to try the buffet!
I went here years ago and had a weird experience of the servers moving me and my partner to a different table mid-meal. I thought, hey that was years ago and came back today. No buffet despite the website not mentioning this, but okay. We ordered a drink special and it took the staff 15 min to tell us they didn’t have the drink. My friend ordered a side of a sauce and they misunderstood and brought him an entire extra entree. The staff seemed to want to deal with us as little as possible, never refilled our waters and didn’t understand what we were trying to order. Also the buffet began to be set out in the middle of our dinner and I really wish there was a mention of this beforehand. The food came out and the samosas were crazy tiny, about the size of a silver dollar, no sauce, no plates to share, just set out on a napkin on a plate. Then the entrees came out and all of them were SO sweet. I love Indian food and love spicy, savory meals. I’m not intimidated by strong flavor. This was like eating honey straight out of a jar. Weird weird flavor profile of just straight sugar taste. Just an overall awkward experience with service not seeming to understand what we wanted and I could feel how stressed they were. I’m sorry to leave a negative review but I wouldn’t risk it. I just felt very unwelcome and disappointed.
I recently read a glowing review about this place, so I had to make a visit. The smell of spices spilled out into the parking lot. My nose told me this was going to be special; and, it was!If you enjoy aromatic flavors, rich spices, and a variety of options, then this place has what you want. It is a foodie's paradise. They also have a robust buffet. It is a great option for anyone trying indian cuisine for the first time.
Absolutely love them! I always get the Chicken Tikka Masala but everything there is delicious.
The setting is pretty typical for a restaurant with a buffet. However, the quality of the food is anything but typical. Flavorful to the max and fresh are the first things that come to mind. The meat in all of the dishes were cooked perfectly, and the naan—matchless. Maybe it was perfect because I indulged early in the game at lunchtime. Maybe it was so spectacular because everyone I know who recommended it are foodies like I am. Or, it could just be that the culinary creators, the Tandoori Guys, who are ordinary folks just like us—have busted out the extraordinary! I will be back!
Came here Friday for $13.95 lunch buffet with a friend on suggestion from a man from Sri Lanka who quipped this place was better than most restaurants in India. When I entered the place, the smell of the food was wonderful--definitely Indian spices! However, the decor was not Michelin 3-star. Yet, I don't go to a lunch buffet for decor and atmosphere. I go to a restaurant for food that "tastes" good. And WOW! was this food good. Everything was off the charts DELICIOUS! The Tandoori chicken was the best I've ever eaten--perfectly cooked and seasoned. Likewise, the beef Kofta Korma was sublime--so tender, and the subtle flavors simply burst across my taste buds. The chicken Tikki Masala was as tender as a baked cod filet, and the flavor was second to none other I've ever had. And then there was the chicken Biryani (spicy chicken and rice)--I've run out of superlatives. It's simply incredible. I've lived in the San Francisco Bay area and Berkeley, southern California, and Las Vegas for the last 22+ years. I thought the Mint Indian Bistro on Flamingo Road in Las Vegas was the best Indian restaurant I'd ever frequented; however, after today, I must say this is hands down the best Indian food I've ever tasted. Although it was not out on the food bar, I asked one of the chefs if they had any Indian rice pudding (Kheer). He brought me a bowl of Kheer with softened cashews. I'm telling you, this food was ambrosia. It was like an out of body eating experience. Like General MacArthur, I shall return.
Delicious!!! Phenomenal food and an amazing staff working their butts off ? buffet was fresh and absolutely amazing!
Great value for the money. The food was fresh and delicious. There were a plethora of items to choose from on the bar. They even provided disposable gloves for the scooping utensils. Service was swift and they can by several times to check on patron, cleaning tables and the beverages. beverages.
Great service! Sonia was so sweet and accommodating! She explained the best menu options and stayed attentive during our visit. The chicken masala is good!! We will be back!
We eat here every chance we get! We've lived all over the world so got to try out Indian dishes in many places and this place ranks right up there with the best! We tell people who like Indian cuisine that THIS is THE best place in Tulsa to go, and they always agree! (Anyone who gives it a low rating must've had a mother who cooked her Indian food a certain way and spoiled her family to the point where they can't stand any Indian food cooked any differently. Too bad for them.) ;-)
