Their tacos are not typical street tacos. They’re decent sized. We grabbed some chips & guacamole. It was delicious! We also grabbed the mango habanero taco which my boyfriend loves. I ordered the vegetarian southwest rice bowl. The southwest dressing was so spicy! Swapped it out for ranch half way through my meal. Would recommend the rice Bowls. Presentation was beautiful. Cute place.
Good but a bit disappointing. The Korean BBQ tacos are sublime, but for a restaurant that literally has taco in the name the taco shell for all 3 tacos we had were a joke. 2 bites in on each taco the shell fell apart forcing us to eat the tacos with a fork.??♂️ The queso had good flavor and I liked the mahi taco too. Lastly the staff was courteous and fantastic.
My first visit! WOW! 2 beef tacos with a huge amount of beef, and cilantro pesto lime rice! AWESOME!
Expect to drop $60 (with drinks) for a family of 4. Neither my sister or I could eat their food. I ordered a Korean tacos and it was a big miss for me. My sister ordered the fish tacos and was disappointed as well. Their concept of giving back is commendable, but make it worth the amount you charge.
The place was very busy but i dont know why. Service is always inexperienced, food is not tasty at all. And they charged me 150 for a small cup of extra salsa cause my food was too bland as ordered. This opinion is not based on one visit. I have tried 3 times. And it is not the franchise, the Bixby location got 5 stars from me! Out of respect i didnt give one star because that is reserved for places that dont even try. I feel like they try here they just have not gotten it right yet. If you want a good experience do like i will do and wait till they improve or go to Bixby.
Went during the weekend for lunch. It was very busy, there was a line, but it moved quickly and food come out in appropriate time. The tacos were filling. I think it was hit or miss. The steak is a little chewy and tough. The chicken itself is a little bland. The added taco is ingredients help make up for the meat. The guacamole, salsa, queso, trio was good and tasted fresh.
We have been twice, and the service is great! I'm fine with paying a little more considering that my purchase helps someone else in need of a meal. The fried chicken taco is NEXT LEVEL and their guacamole is good too ?
The atmosphere is great, you're greeted by very energetic and friendly staff when ordering. Staff is great making recommendations and making sure you're taken care of.Food is not so great. Steak was bland, flavorless. Cold flour tortillas and lots of veggies(more like a wrap than a taco). Hot salsa has lots of vinegar, not my fave. Drinks were the best part of the meal.Overall, great concept with a noble cause. I will probably not go back. I just don't think the food justifies the high prices.
I usually shy away from the gimmicky food joints, "buy one we send one to some far off place you have never heard of", etc, etc. But you owe it to yourself to give this place a try. I was hesitant but the Mrs really wanted TFL for our Friday lunch, so we went. I only give it 4 stars because there was a line to the door at lunch and only one person taking orders. This did give me plenty of time to download the app, register and get a free taco by the time it was our turn. By the time we made it to the register, they did add another person to yake orders. We ordered the combo starter with chips queso, guac and salsa. All around very good and plenty of food for two or more to snack on. The Mrs ordered a Korean bbq taco, I ordered the combo with one spicy chorizo, a mango habanero w/chicken and a side of mexican cream corn. The spicy chorizo was by far my favorite. The mexican cream corn was also excellent. The Mrs really enjoyed her Korean bbq as well. The mango habanero I didn't get to since I was satisfied with everything else so I took it home, although, eating it a day late may have been a mistake. The taco had plenty of flavor, but the chicken was a little chewy. Other than that, I would highly recommend this establishment for a great experience and great food. If you like super spicy food like I do, don't expect to get that here. They do have a nice hot sauce that added to the flavor quite well, but I wouldn't call it hot per se. Enjoy!
Tacos 4 Life has a good concept, which is buy a taco and feed a starving kid around the world, which is also displayed at the booths napkin dispenser.I'm from L.A. and being that I moved here I didn't have high hopes, because if you really want tacos, well just go and visit. So I still gave this place a try. I ordered two grilled chicken tacos and one Hawaiian shrimp taco with a side of sweet corn. This was really good, very tasty and fulfilling. What my wife order wasn't what I was looking for, but at least she knows what to get next time (what I ordered). She ordered two Korean beef tacos and one mahi-mahi taco with a side of refried black beans, which were really good. I've had Korean tacos and that's not here. I'll be back.
