I go there fairly regularly for lunch. It's not bad, but they pulled the steak from the menu, the menu item I ordered most. This past weekend we went in for breakfast and it was pretty bad. The wait was long - one couple left before getting their food - the orders weren't all correct and my daughter's french toast was basically a toast shaped scramble egg. Dinner and lunch isn't bad but stay away from breakfast.
A nice enough country style family restaurant. Food was okay, but nothing special. There were 3 of us. We ordered the chicken-fried steak, the Cuban sandwich, and the spinach strawberry salad. The steak was acceptable. The Cuban sandwich wasn’t anything like a Cuban. The salad had a really nice taste and the dressing was perfect. The spinach wasn’t young tender leaves and they still had long stems on them. Those two oversights made the salad less enjoyable. Service wasn’t bad.
I've ordered to go from here two times this week and the service is outstanding the girl who answered the phone was very sweet and courteous. The food is outstanding we had the meatloaf and mashed potatoes and the chicken fried steak both are delicious. The rolls are the best part they are soooo good. I highly recommend this place ???
The chicken fried steak, meatloaf, and porkloin are EXCELLENT! Really homestyle... the mashed potatoes even had skins mixed in!!!! Delicious all around.
OMGOODNESS! Guys this place is off the charts! I'm telling you each and everyone I've eaten here it has been incredible! Nicest people there as well! This is a great place for any kind of gathering or just to come by for a slice of heavenly pie!! You've got to try this place!!
Awesome food & great service
I had the roast, and it was good, but i wish it had vegetables roasted with the meat. The fried okra was good and crispy. The mashed potatoes are very good. The rolls are good and they have a strawberry rhubarb sauce to put on the rolls and it's good. The drinks stayed filled and the service was good, very fast.
This is the type of restaurant I am always looking for. Outstanding food. It has a mom and pop type of vibe. The staff was kind and quite friendly. This is definitely one of my new favorite restaurants. Highly recommend !!
Tasty homemade rolls with strawberry rhubarb jam. Varied menu that is sure to please a variety of tastes. Great portion sizes for the price.
We had a real good and reasonably priced breakfast. We both had what they call Breakfast Trash which was hash browns covered with two eggs, sausage, cheese, onions, and peppers, with biscuits and gravy and it was delicious. Our sever, Rebekah W was as good as a server could be.
