We have gone here for forty years and was never disappointed.Went up in January for our 51st anniversary, there was a wait but got seated around 5:45 pm. They don't open until 5:00pm.They were out of prime rib!!!!!! In 45 minutes??The salad had shrunk, the dinner rolls were cold.Highly disappointed since we drove three hours to get there.The service was great but the food was disappointing, so sad.

Needed a saw to cut my Ribeyes, brought our salad dressing out in a little plastic cup like McDonald's, wife's shrimp was tuff and over cooked,service was mediocre, my wife had to search a closet to find her to go box,was very dissapointed, used to be great
Steak not cooked to style my wife and I ordered. Sent back and still not done right !We gave up and brought our steaks home for our dogs ! Not sure why ! But for $40 steaks it was very disappointing on our 48th Anniversary! We have been there many times in the past and never had this problem before. Sorry !
We have been going there for 39 years for our Anniversary...they never disappoint! We are from Texas but at The Fireside in Oklahoma is where the best steaks are. Peanut Butter pie is a must to-go tradition...

Started going in late 80s. Haven't been there since 2011But food is still excellent. Try the prime rib and potato casserole. Went last friday.
We love this little gem on the lake…we drive up from Fort Worth to eat here. Best homemade dressings…blue cheese is our favorite.
