Honestly I live like 3 miles from this place and didn't know it existed. Awesome staff amazing food, bar/fancy sit down type of vibe. Great place to bring a date. Outside makes it look very Ma and Pa, but the inside is a completely different vibe. Freshly renovated and they even had USB ports at each booth.

Once again, another bartender has been binge watching James Bond movies. I shouldn't need to request a dry gin martini is stirred, not shaken. Alas, large chunks of ice filled the martini glass. We had waited longer than we should have for our cocktails, too. My husband and I were going to stay for supper but opted for just an appetizer. We had the fried clam strips and they were quite tasty and hot. The sauce served with them was nicely done as well. Aside from that this restaurant has adequate parking and it is handicap accessible. They have a nice menu with prices that are not excessive. It seemed to be a favorite of the locals as there was a wait for a table on Sunday evening.
Service was great. We ordered Cilantro Chicken & Pork Chops. Both lacked flavor & were dry. The rolls & veggies were good. We will probably not return. The Patio area was nice & comfortable. Thanks

I got the filet and it was, by far, the best in town. Hands down, the thickest, most tender cut. I got mine medium rare, it is a VERY thick cut so some may prefer their more well done but I loved mine, the buttery garlic sauce on top made it perfect. The summer vegetables, zucchini and squash was wonderful as well. I have a gluten allergy and the cook made mine in a separate pan by request. Highly recommend and will absolutely be going back.
Wow, amazing food and great service. Everything was cooked properly and seasoned perfectly. Front house team was friendly and attentive. If you are in the area, Rake's is a "must go" establishment. The prior poster(s) complaining about the prices being too high is out of touch...a similarly appointed/sized meal costs the same at Red Lobster, but Rake's quality is superior in every sense of the word.
My favorite local restaurant in town.The best chicken wraps and Mac and cheese burger when they have it and the service is the best.
