First time eating here...and the last. Cost over $40 for two people to eat. Food was horrible. Lo Mein was dry and chewy. General Tso chicken was like rubber. Someone advertised it as having sushi and Hibachi but they don't. I'm giving 2 stars only for our waitress who was very kind and friendly. As we were leaving, the people working the front had their face in their phones and didn't acknowledge customers. Place sucks.
My wife and live in Newark and ate here for the first time today. On the plus side you have a huge selection of food to choose from. The largest buffet I have ever seen. The negative side is that none of the food was hot enough. It was all cold especially the fried foods and it wasn't fresh. The spicy chicken bites were hard, cold and been out on that buffet for hours. We were there about 2 in the afternoon which may explain this. I'm not sure if we will be back or not. I like the selection but it also has to be hot. I'll let you decide.
We went there awhile back and the food was ok. We still had like 30 min til they closed and we were being rushed out the door!! The lady at register kept interrupting us so she could see how much our order was gonna be and my daughter is 4, she didn't get to finish her dessert. I was so mad and they were rude and I will never go back there again!! We spent good money just to be rushed out the door, I understand they've probably had a long day and were ready to go home but still, there is no need for that!!! You lost a group of customers that night, hope your happy!
If your black & you go in they assume you can’t tip. They will treat you bad the whole time. They told me my “boyfriend” couldn’t be up front because they don’t trust black men by the money but he was BUYING food from there? You gotta cash out up front. There’s a man named Marcus there that will repeatedly talk about everyone’s vaginas, grab there hair touch on them and the boss the owner TOMMMMY his self will allow the sexual harassment too go on and not care at all. It’s scary in todays world. They never wear gloves in the back, they constantly cut there nails and floss there teeth and do not wash there hands. They was also positive working with covid and never told got other workers sick and never even paused them for missing the hours they missed. Tommy hisself THE OWNER picks on the women mentally bullies them and tears them down calling them stupid/dumb and a “sum of a b********” & wonders why girls get scared too work with grown men. Your wasting your money giving to a place that treats Americans like dogs but some of them don’t even have their green cards. So how does that make sense. It’s sick. It’s sad. It’s a very very very downgrading & backwards place. But they swear they’re christians. I thought being “gods people” you was suppose to be a better lead and accept everyone. :(
Best time to go is 11am when they open. That's when the food is fresh. Never had an issue with the service. on Sundays they charge dinner prices all day so that's the only thing I didn't like.
Not a whole lot of variety, half of the food at buffet was okay, 1/4 was old looking, 1/4 never got refilled after empty. It had been years since I visited there and I remember it being the best buffet I'd ever been to. Not anymore , it's over an hour from home and when we happened to be going close by we were excited to stop and eat there. Guess we should have choose somewhere else, what a disappointment ?.
Ordered online requested green onions to be put with the Egg drop soup was neither put in or put on side. Sauces on table, but nothing was said about them on table, was expecting them in bag so didn't ask. I will say that the food was very good. Better than it has been.
Didn't have much food options and the food was very bland and some was cold. I literally got my plate took a bite spit it out and left. Not recommended to go here. But everyone's palate is different.
Very good food, as always. The servers were prompt and courteous. It's a really nice, clean restaurant.
Wish the salad bar actually had lettuce tomatoes cucumbers green peppers etc to make a salad. Everything else was good except the cheese sticks absolutely no taste at all. Waitress was good.
