Personally, I think this restaurant looks like it belongs in the '80s. I was not impressed and I would probably never go back to be truthful. It is traditional to Zanesville to have underwhelming restaurants to eat at and this particular restaurant was true to nature. The food itself was mediocre at best but the wait staff was actually wonderful. The decor on the inside is so outdated. It reminds me of some sort of high-end wannabe '80s restaurant. Please get a decorator to come in and redecorate that place! Also you might want to hire a better chef. There's a much better restaurant just right around the corner from this one. Go there and save your money!

Finally found solid cocktails in Zanesville!!! Stopped in after finding an Old Fashioned listed on the cocktail menu online. Coming from the StL I've been on a search for something more than sugar, maraschino cherry and bourbon. Tried a couple of the cocktails on the new menu. Delicious and decently priced. I asked the bartender, Ronny, (as the locals know by name -love this) how was his Old Fashioned. He shook his head yes and boy did he deliver. It was what I have been looking. We will most certainly be back to try the food. From what I saw it looked amazing. Thanks Ronnie and please stay there so I can have another. Here I am again post the downtown disaster and the snowstorm. I love this place!!!! Ronnie's cocktails are Zanesville's best. Thank you!!!

The Inn is so dark inside; Food was edible. We had a veggie pizza. Best to continue elsewhere. Not sure why this place got so many good reviews.

A slow Monday night, but several groups in there. Wait staff very friendly and moving. Great salad and lasagna. Unbelievable beer list. Crazy beers from all over. I had one from Akron - great - and one from Belgium - great. I would go back. Easy to find off of I-70; cute town, too.

Found this place on accident smelled the food from outside and lead me to the Old Market House Inn. I had the Chicken parm which was amazing big portion size the taste was A1. The fresh bread served with it was incredible 3 different kinds to be exact white, pumpernickel, tomato basil I believe. For dessert I had tiramisu.

A wonderful restaurant with a great food selection! The style of the market house is my favorite it feels like I'm eating in an old timey tarven! I always love coming here for a special dinner

Wonderful atmosphere. Our server was very polite, efficient, and attentive. The food was excellent. Would highly recommend.

I visited this restaurant for the first time last week. I ordered a salad - very good. The decor here is unique. My only complaint is that there are not any gluten free options.

I don't know how or why I ended up in Zanesville Ohio on my 65th birthday but it happened. So the decision was made to patronize an old local business in a town where the only thing still open are chain restaurants. I am sad to say that it was the wrong decision the food was pitiful the service was equally as pitiful this place by all rights should be closed. The sauteed spinach had freezer burn tasted like s*** the salad was terrible, salmon and the scallops were some sort of Frozen portions from Sysco , I should have known better to order seafood in Ohio .Everything was awful. What a shame we certainly tried.

Quite the atmosphere they have inside. It gives off a "bigger on the inside" vibe though it is set like an old English pub.We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, their Roman bread appetizer, flavourful & delicious. My glazed salmon was good, the sauteed spinach as a side was a bit too salty.Aside from the tiramisu being too frozen to eat right away (I did take it home to eat later & loved it) and needing a few more staff this was an overall pleasant place to eat, I look forward to coming again.
