Right away the atmosphere is great. The interior of the restaurant is awesome looking, with it’s carved and painted booths, my kids loved it.The wait staff was attentive and very friendly. The food came out quickly and just as we ordered it, and it was DELICIOUS. The portion sizes were very generous too, we came away with so many take home boxes!Shoutout to the Flaming Fajitas.
The best Mexican restaurant in Zanesville Ohio!! We were greeted with a smile as soon as we entered. The restaurant is so beautiful! Wood carved chairs and booths. Unique, family friendly, colorful, welcoming and festive! We were seated promptly and given unlimited fresh chips with the most delicious salsa. Lots of food and drink choices, lunch specials and great price’s! Our waitstaff was so friendly and provided excellent service. Food was fresh, fast, piping hot and so delicious! The bar had lots of seating, huge selection of drinks and margaritas on tap! :)⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Sadly this Mexican restaurant just does not make the cut. Lousy service ( I drank coffee and was never offered a refill) when I noticed a mistake in my meal ( was not aware that jalapenos came on my meal) and asked kindly while apologizing for not noticing, if they could fix it. They simply picked off my jalapenos and brought me my meal back sadly making it very hard to enjoy because I kept biting into very spicy pieces of both meat rice and beans. Will not be returning ?
Atmosphere was very nice. Servers were friendly and knowledgeable about all things on the menu. We will go back again and again. Keep up the good work!
I never thought I would get over the loss of El Maguey, but this version of Monterrey has brought pure joy to this lover of Mexican food! Thank yo Jorge & crew for the best of the best!

Monterrey use to be my favorite Mexican place to eat. The last couple of times I've been there or ordered pick up, the service has been subpar. Whatever happened from when it first opened up to now needs to go back to the beginning.
First time and wasn't disappointed. Good food and great service, will come again!

Saw they had chiles rellenos on the menu. My favorite! Much better than Tlequepaque or Zak's ever was. It's fresh tasting,,more authentic..the sauce was excellent.
