I love the authentic smoked bbq theme, however the dry rub is a little spicy and it's on 99% of there proteins on the menu.High remarks on soft serve ice cream, their milk shakes are a tad thick.The menu is very large, so plan accordingly before using the drive thru only when ordering. Suggest parking and ordering to go.Also check your order! Placed an order at the counter to go and was given the wrong size beef brisket and noodles.Staff is friendly however not everyone is well trained at their positions.A staff meeting could help fix confusion on container sizes. So everyone is on the same page each shift.
Great brisket in Ohio! We are trying to get BBQ in all 50 states. Grilling Dave did not let us down. When I am back in Zanesville, I will definitely go back to Grillin Dave-Style.

The food is very good. I especially like the smoke wings and Chipotle sauce. I also like their banana splits. The large is filling.
The brisket and ribs are delicious. The staff is extremely friendly. Loved it here
Between our whole family, we had brisket, pulled pork, ribs, and chicken. It was all dry, no flavor… no visible smoke ring. The Mac and cheese had a terrible taste. The peanut butter soft serve ice cream was the highlight. To top it off… no bathroom! They have a porta potty on site though!

Dave, the owner is a complete arrogant and aggressive person who was seen verbally abusing and belittling his staff. This is no place to go with family. To all you staff members - find somewhere else to work and tell your boss to kiss your a$$. You all deserve better and no one should be treated how he treats you. As for the food here - don’t waste your money supporting the dickhead of an owner.
The food was absolutely delicious. I had the pulled pork excellent! also the Parmesan potatoes, the Mac n Cheese and kicken beans great comfort food !! the portions were decent as well! Not a long wait either!!! My grandson had strawberry ice cream but they had so many flavors and varieties. I was so full from my dinner I didn't even get to try the desserts !!!
