Bad Atmosphere, Bad service, terribly disappointed. All I had ever heard was good things about V2 so I took my fiancee here on a date. We got there and the host was very dismissive. He sat us down and we could hardly hear over the music and people talking. The restaurant was less than half capacity. We barely saw our servers the whole time and when we did they were not friendly or nice whatsoever. We got food, I ordered a pizza for $13, it was plate sized and it barely had any sauce on it. I can go across the street to Avalon and get a delicious large pizza for a couple dollars more. My fiancee got the chicken parmesan and it was drowning in sauce. The sauce tasted like Chef Boyardee spaghetti O's, so if you like that go for it for $16. Overall food was the worst I've had in all of Youngstown. Our servers did the bare minimum and were preoccupied watching the basketball game on one of their many tvs. Also an epilepsy warning for this restaurant, every light was either flashing and changing different colors or were flickering. They had a bunch of beers on tap, we were not told what was available however and were not given a drinks menu other than the wines listed on the menu. Also they are trying to charge $18 for 8 chicken wings, this is a pathetic excuse for a nice restaurant. I recommend MVR, The Federal (next door), or Avalon Downtown (across the street). Literally eat anywhere but here.
Great date night spot with delicious food. Meggin was our server and she was kind and attentive. We love supporting local Ytown restaurants!
This was an excellent meal, with excellent staff, and very reasonable prices! On a warm early fall Sunday evening, we were able to get seating outside. Our server was very friendly throughout our visit, prompt, and efficient. My meal, which was a pasta dish with a large meatball and sausage link, was outstanding....made even better by the fact that the price for the dish was very appealing as well. This was a great meal, and I'd no doubt return!
Food was really delicious. Great flavors, and I really recommend the sausage and beans. However the delicious food was a cleverly disguised trap. Couldn't go the whole meal without the food striking back like an angered Baltic grandmother. 8/10 as a whole 10/10 for taste.
The food is so-so, but the beer selection is pretty solid. The open kitchen design has its ups and downs. The last time I was here, I watched a man in glasses undo his belt and tuck in his shirt in the kitchen.
This used to be my favorite restaurant, so much so that it was tradition to eat here on my Birthday/Anniversary (December 23rd). Went there on Dec 23rd this year to be turned away bc they stopped serving food apparently. What a disappointment for my birthday and our anniversary. Then it states on Google and Facebook they were open Sunday December 26th as well, and once again wasn't open. We had also come into town for Thanksgiving this year and tried to go on a Friday while in town. We got there and the doors were locked even though online stated they were open. It's ridiculous someone can't very simply fix the hours of operation on Google or on Facebook. We drive 3 hrs to eat here just to be disappointed the last 4 attemps to get food. 2 years ago they seemed to have better service bc when they weren't open when my husband was trying to grab food for my birthday a nice lady there gave him a gift card for his inconvenience but not anymore.

Called and placed an order for pickup recently. Ordered multiple pizzas bill was $100. All pizzas were burnt and unable to be eaten. Had to throw them away. Tried reaching out to them with no response to emails etc. so I decided to write a review so this doesn’t happen to anyone else. Definitely go somewhere else to eat. I am out $100 and had spend more on other food for people at my house.I am not a person to complain and this is my first negative review I have ever written!! Had they returned a call and or email I would have not posted.
Good hard to say on food they closed early friendly staff and a clean environment
It was insanely busy Friday night but we got great service and the food was fantastic, as always!! Highly recommend!!
