BEST PIZZA IN YOUNGSTOWN!! I moved to the Youngstown area about a year ago and came across this place incidentally. Uptown quickly became a favorite and I’m so glad I found uptown pizza!! My mom and I dined in and was immediately greeted by a friendly waitress named Lisa. Lisa is the absolute best. She always remembers what we want to drink and details about our life. I know she sees a lot of people so I think it’s so sweet and genuine that she remembers us!! I have loved everything I’ve gotten at uptown. Some of my favorites are their thursday pasta special (you can’t beat it!!) meatball sub, and, of course, pizza. Highly recommend.

Black Olives.I get they're having issues with help.I get their a local business just trying to stay afloat during covid BUT, with that being said, if you take my money for a service you provide wouldn't it behoove you to get the orders correct and at least CHECK to see if your customers are being handed a correct order BEFORE getting home?
For decades, Uptown Pizza has been a favorite of Youngstown locals and travelers. Its slightly sweet sauce, its caramelized cheese, its medium thickness makes it a distinct memory for your tastebuds. People who grew up eating Uptown Pizza decidedly make it a point to order a pizza when they come back to visit friends and family. It's really that good, and it's really got that kind of following. Youngstown has a large Italian-American community, and there have been many, many pizzerias in the metropolitan area. It's not an exaggeration that some of the best pizza in Youngstown is among the best pizza I've had anywhere in the US. I can name check many of them, but that might not be fair to Uptown. On this side of town, there is no question this would be the first choice for a pizza. Their Italian wedding soup is also among the best you'll ever have. I guarantee it. Their spaghetti and meatballs is really good too. There are only two sizes of pizza here: the standard 12 inch, and their famous Little Joe which is a personal size, and is a lunch special with a salad. I cannot recommend this place enough. As a restaurant and dining experience, you can find more upscale places with fancier furnishings and wait staff that will be at your beck and call. This place is not that. The staff is friendly and knows their menu. Often the person at the cash register is also the cook. Or the waitress is also the cashier. It's a small, hometown place. The magic is the pizza (and the wedding soup). YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.

A Youngstown tradition! It is still the pizza I grew up with! Great service at this location whether you want to dine in or carry out. Stopped for lunch with a friend, 2 little joes & a salad was only $12!!
First time I ate here had the Cajun chicken salad yes at a pizza joint but it was awesome. I did try the pepperoni loaf and big time yum. Our waitress was super good as well
