Food is good but we couldn't try it this time. This is the second time in a row that this happened. Called in an order for two and she said 10 minutes. I waited to leave, got there in 20; walked in she said order be right out, hence I waited another 20...no lie they came out twice and had words with each other about my order, went back waited 5 more, lady said be right out, finally it came, I went to car...wrong order. I had to beg for a justified refund because she said she would fix the unfixable. No apology no explanation, no nothing, just a mad refund. I can't believe this place now, been going here for years.
Great to have those chips and salsa flowing, free of charge. The meal was excellent. Perhaps some food could have been spicier, but then again, they leave it up to the customer to add their own hot sauce. So be sure to do that, if you like it that way! I would certainly return, if in the area. It's a really, really big place...so they can easily handle crowds on weekends. Good access to Baymont hotel, adjacent.
The food here was good. I had a seafood burrito, chimichunga with rice & beans & they were loaded with seafood! The burrito was bigger, but the chimmi was very tasty with the queso. My daughter had a combo plate with a burrito & hard taco & she loved it! My friend had seafood burritos that she said were very filling & worth the money. The service was a little lacking as we asked for a few things that we never received & were forgotten. But our waitress was missing & another guy was trying to help us and services his tables too, so I didn't hold it over him as it was not his fault. Overall I will go back though. Nice environment, clean & friendly.
Food was acceptable. Service was lacking. My daughters meal came 15 minutes later than everyone else's because the cook "forgot" but the whole time we were there the employees were singing loudly and dancing from the back between taking orders out. I'm all for enjoying where you work but not when the product suffers.Guess we'll be sticking to El Jalepeno in Niles from here on. The food and service is top notch there.
Nice atmosphere, good service, good food. Your typical Mexican dining, but worth a try.
Always always always great service no matter if we eat in or take home. My wife and I love this Mexican Restaurant it is our favorite.
