Drinks are cold, the sub sandwiches are DELICIOUS!!! it's definitely the west sides dive bar... you walk in and will always know somebody. Treat you family... whether you're the black sheep or the a$$ kisser. You get treated accordingly. Not bad lol
I gave Periscoop 5 stars a couple of years ago, and still do. My family has been a customer since the 80's and even though I now live near Cleveland, I make it a point to stop and get a sub when I am back in Youngstown. It is by no means a fancy place but the food and service is amazing.

This is not a sub shop it is a bar. They do have food But I did not eat here. The bar was packed at lunch time with no social distancing or masks. Yikes
