The best roll I ever had. The beautiful day that I missed.
My wife, myself and our son have went here for years. We used to carry beer in to their old location and get sushi all the time! My wife and I have great memories of the sushi wood ship brought out to us and everything. Anyway, we like it here.We came here for dinner and my wife and I ordered scallops and fillet mignon hibachi dinners, our son ordered a chicken hibachi dinner and all of us ordered a fair amount of sushi too. $125 bill.My wife took a bite or two of her fillet and it was extremely chewy and fatty. Not fillet. The waitress came by for drinks and my wife answered her question about how things were and told the waitress that her fillet wasn’t very good.The waitress had the cook come out, who actually proceeded to take his cell phone out and google pictures of “bargain” fillet mignon. He said they didn’t use good quality fillet and that was the reason.No apologies at all. The manager/chef guy just kept standing next to us, with plenty of other people inside eating, and telling us they get similar steaks to sams club and other bargain places. He said we should choose a steak house for a good quality fillet.I’m not making this up. We didn’t even want to have our food taken back or anything, she still wanted to eat her food! I paid my full bill at the register after the 10 minute fiasco, and still no one was nice at all and apologized about their terrible steak that we ordered and paid for. Crazy.We’ve been there, or gotten take out for about 10 years straight. Haven’t went back since this day.
Food is always great when I go there. I’m normally very happy when I go there. But this time pushed me over the edge with customer service. We were told to wait 20 minutes to be sat when I was looking at 5 open tables. And when after we were sat we didn’t get to speak to anyone to take our drink orders for 45 min before we decided to leave. Not to mention 3 people who were sat after us were already ordering their meal. I went to izumi right up the street and they were equally packed and I’m already gotten my drinks and ordering my food within 10 minutes of walking in the door.
They are small in comparison to Niles location, but very good. Sushi is the best, and they cook everything else quite well. The hot soup (noodles, meat, egg, etc) was cooked similar to overseas. I get that now and hubby orders hibachi. Shared sushi.
Best sushi around. Out of control roll is our favorite, and the yummy roll is a good clean roll too. Charlie, our waiter, made the whole experience a great time.
Wonderful sushi, amazing menu. Our waiter CHARLIE is the best...he gives great recommendations, so friendly and out going!
Delicious sushi , nice atmosphere and staff (Charles) was very accommodating. He was prompt, friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. Great restaurant for families or a date. Exceptional service and food at a great price.
Fresh and amazing !!!! Eric is the best waiter ever. Give this man a raise . The sushi is fresh and delicious. Eric is such an amazing server! He is always helpful with ordering and his recommendations for wine, beer and food. We now come here weekly and only sit in his section . Thank you Mizu we love you !!
