Bad service waitress was not attentive at all, and my steak was raw. Not to mention I had a to go order charged to me but never received it. It was my 2nd time there, thinking the service was poor the first why not try again. 2nd time even worse. Waitress never asked how our steak was, it was raw inside charred on the outside. I had to interrupt her just to get her to my table. Made a to go order at the beginning of the order that was charged yet never received it with my leftovers they packed up.

My family and I wanted to take my future in-laws somewhere nice for dinner while they were in town. We had never been to Michael Alberini's, so we decided to give it a try. We had the very best time! The service was excellent. The food was phenomenal. My future mother-in-law said it was the best lasagna she has ever had. Everyone loved their meals. We also loved the appetizers including the baked crab dip and thai shrimp. Drinks were also very good! The ambiance was lovely for a dinner out, and our waiter was very attentive. I highly recommend Michael Alberini's for an evening out or special occasion!

I have been to this restaurant twice and I have lived in the area all my life. The first time I went was to meet my parents for dinner and I remember the food making me sick. My most recent visit (after 10 years of being there) wasn't as bad, but it wasn't great. My fish was overcooked and it didn't even have the sauce that came on top. It was a cajun walleye that was completely flavorless and with the missing sriracha sauce that didn't help matters. A friend of mine and I both agreed that the sweet potatoes tasted off. I also ordered a lobster tail in addition because go big or go home right? Well, the lobster tail was not good at all and extremely overcooked. Definitely not fresh lobster. I understand this is Northeast Ohio, however, if their prices are that $$$$ then it should be fresh lobster and everything should be cooked well. I also ordered hot peppers and oil for an appetizer and the peppers were not even the least bit spicy. Overall I am not surprised in a way because my first experience here was not the greatest. My second visit here was better- but mostly because of the friends I was with.

Went to this restaurant last night to grab a bite to eat and a drink. No one was at the front desk so I went to the bar, myself and a friend sat patiently waiting for the bartender to finish his conversation. We waited for about 5mins, the bartender looked at us walked toward us and then went back to his conversation and cleaning a cup that he was cleaning since we walked in. We immediately left.

Quality food. My steak was overdone, however they exchanged it no problem. The waiter did seem a bit too smug for my liking, but I think that was just his personality. ?‍♀️ Also, if you want shrimp added, make sure to tell them not to put it on top of your steak. Kind of ruins the flavor of the steak. Still highly recommend. Just be specific when ordering. The dried cherry filet mignon medallions my significant other ordered was amazing! Crab cake was nice and full of meat rather than bread crumbles! Caprese salad had fresh delicious mozzarella and the balsamic they used to pair it was amazing. Hungarian hot peppers were not hot, but still good.

The food was extremely good, especially the three veal dishes our party ordered. I would have gladly given this wonderful restaurant 5 stars but the loud music in the bar area, where we were seated, was extremely loud. Our server did take care of turning the volume down but it was still bothersome. I think the problem is that they have a jukebox and patrons pay to have selections played- not exactly what I would expect in a fine dining restaurant. I could see top 40 music selections in a bar without dining tables, but they had multiple tables and I’m sure the music affected conversation. In summary, there was a disconnect between the dining experience and the music.

We love this place! It is expensive, but the food is like no where else. We have never had a meal that we didn't like. Everything tastes delectable. We did go here the other night and the service was very slow. They said they were having staffing issues. This is understandable, but it was beyond what one would consider reasonable slowness. We were there for over 2 hours. The food was amazing, so it is hard to complain. No matter what you get, you are going to love it.

Had our office Christmas party there. Food was very good, but only had 4 limited menu options to choose from. But I can understand that due to # of holiday parties they host they have to have limited menu choices for the holiday parties. At 1st they said that you could not substitute any side dishes but due to me being on a special diet they allowed me to change my side dish from mashed potatoes to a mixed vegetable medley which was excellent. They only downside, was it seemed like the one waitress was a little "pushy" and seemed like she was trying to rush our party and hurry our ordering and other things throughout the night. But other than that, a very nice place, great food, and fair prices and service.

We had amazing service, delicious food, great atmosphere, Maria was our waitress who was very prompt with everything we needed!❤ PLUS we had the owner come over and ask how our dinner was and if we needed anything, great sense of humor and not very often an owner of a business checks in on each individual table, will definitely be back!!! Thank you all!

Food and is Excellent. We take our staff for annual dinner.I hope the owners recent problems do not change the Restaurant.
