This walkup ice cream shop was a childhood favorite of the dear friend I was traveling with so we had to stop and have a couple big cones of her lifetime favorite, chocolate pecan. The ice cream was good, but too soft and almost cloyingly thick but the pecans was whole and lightly toasted to bring out their wonderful flavor. That alone made the visit memorable. I keep looking for my personal favorite, rum raisin, which I haven't seen in years.
