Thought I’d try this place today for lunch and saw a guy putting up chairs outside. I walked in and there was no one there. I ask if they were open yet, he responds yeah we open. I said oh ok because I was standing there and I didn’t see anyone else. He then says I’m putting the chairs outside, you see me standing out here…… I didn’t know that there was only one person working the front of house so I had no idea. I called before I left work and no one answered so I didn’t know anything. He then tried to belittle me so I just walked away. I never been before but I’ll never be back because of this.
Omg this place was SOOOO good!!! I got the trash can nachos, smoot got the salad and it was phenomenal and my girlfriend built her own tacos and they were fantastic! Our server Kirstian was the sweetest, most friendly server I’ve had in years! Eddy helped bring our food out and he made us feel so welcome! This place, food and service, is a 10 out of 10 and I’ll ABSOLUTELY be back!!!!
Second time dining here and my opinion hasn’t changed. The prices are more expensive than Barrio in downtown Cleveland but with portions being ridiculously small. Both times the meat in the tacos has been dry and the toppings were sparse. We were given about a dozen chips to go with our queso (group of 4) and when asked for more, discovered we were charged for them. Our friend’s orders were wrong and we waited an hour (no exaggeration) for our drinks and even simple glasses of water. We were excited for a taco place to open downtown but it’s been a disappointment.
We stopped at Gringos for drinks at the bar. The drinks were amazing and so are your bar tenders! Great customer service! It’s been a while since we’ve to a place where customer service is number 1! We’ll definitely be back to hang out with our new favorite people ?
Hands down BEST taco place in Youngstown!!!!! Pictured are some of their signature Spring drinks, Esquites dip and nachos and their signature tacos...... everything was exceptionally delicious
We had a great experience! The homemade guacamole was so good and the margaritas were amazing. We had the fish tacos, and they were outstanding too! Service was great. recommended!
This place was great! The waitress was friendly and very helpful to us since it was our first time. The food and drinks were delicious! Definitely going to be coming back!
Food is delicious when they make it correctly. If I've eaten here 15 times, they've screwed up my order 5 times. This place is the McDonald's of tacos. Your order stands a good chance of being botched.
Without question, this is a great taco joint. Perfectly to the point menu with creative twists on the beloved taco. The whitefish and pollo loco tacos were amazing, but the classic Gringo taco was the best taco I’ve had locally. Many happy hour options. Super fun staff and man-oh-man, can they make a Margarita! Left happy and full. My only complaint is that the queso didn’t come with a straw.
