Great food and pretty good service. We will be back, definitely. Patio is nice, only comment is the music and bocce is quite loud and the flowers from the hanging baskets fell into our food a few times when a breeze hit.
Great food and great service at a fair price. This is one of the lasting treasures of Youngstown and the place is steeped in local history. The bar has great drinks and the place even hosts bocci courts.Plenty of options for everyone. As a fan if spicy food, I gave the Hell' Shells a try. They were a very unique take on stuffed shells with no shortage of red pepper in the cheese filling. Definitely a terrific dish that bites back every bit as much as I had hoped. One of the best italian restaurants in town.
My friend and I went there after reading reviews and we will definitely be going back. Food was outstanding prices even better and the entire staff was so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend
Came here after the worst dining experience I have ever had at another area restaurant.Cassese's was a very pleasant surprise. I had the Coach's Cajun chicken sandwich. Chicken was flavorful, bun toasty. The fries were crisp and delicious.I would definitely return in the future. Nice selection and the service was also on point.
From the start of planning for our wedding we knew we wanted our reception at MVR because we know the food is amazing. Joe and his staff went above and beyond our expectations. Every person attending told us how amazing the food was and we agreed!! Our tables were set up beautifully for us. This restaurant is an AMAZING local establishment that does everything they can to please their customer. They graciously took my take out order this evening even with a 30-45 min wait to be seated in doors. They made accommodations to meals they no longer have on their menu and my vegetarian diet. Food was in abundance and delicious as always. Thank you MVR for being one of Y-towns most well known and BEST restaurants ❤️

Went there with my team of about 40 girls after practice and the food hit the spot man!!! Such delicious food and very generous portion sizes. I was so full but had to keep eating because the food was just that good. If I'm ever in the area again, I'm coming back that's for sure.
