Interesting diner. I was referred to by a friend. The food was fresh and hot , I had a Reuben, the bread was a little to thick but over all it was hot and delicious. Didn't realize that there is a car hop on the other side of the building until after I was leaving.Overall rating 7.9
Tried this place for breakfast. They serve coffee in a tumbler with no finger holes so you can't even drink it for about 15 minutes. Overpriced, mediocre food. They put us at a table that was one foot from a wall so that's what we had to look at. Never again!!!
We have been eating here for over 40 years. Now, for $11.49, you get cold overcooked fish which has been changed. The French Fries appeared to be from lunch and the Spanish rice cold out the can. The unsweetened ice tea hit the spot.My wife said on our way home it was the worst meal we had ever had there. They have changed the breading and the fish. Over half of my plate was left with the overcooked breading. This meal was on the order of highway robbery. Shame on the owner!
The best way to describe this place is.. well... it is what it is. After taking a quick look at the menu, you quickly realize that this restaurant caters to an older clientele. While the place was moderately busy, the crowd was definitely closer to retired than college age. The meal was soft, bland and definitely had smaller portions. Again.. this place is...what it is. But it's still a viable option when you're taking your grandmother out for an early bird special..But this is definitely NOT the place where you'll take your friends for a bite to eat after a round of golf or an afternoon of basketball...
Let me start by saying. There is not a more homey place to eat in town. Food is delicious and the staff is amazing. From the dining room employees to those who run the take out. Truly amazing staff. Managers who are attentive to their guests as well as their staff. amazing desserts with a wide variety! haven't had anything off their menu I don't like!!
Seems like mostly older folks here as customers which is awesome. You can over hear some interesting things here.Food is fairly priced and generous (not huge) portions. I've had several things off the menu here and I'm slowly working my way though it. Haven't found a dish that isn't acceptable. Even things I don't like are edible from here.
This is a great spot to stop for a snack or a full meal. You also have the option to order from the car with their car hop service. The burgers and hot dogs are tasty and they have some great dinners as well!
Food was good, service ok. Not so much lack of Stafford wait time. More on friendliness or lack there of. May have just been a rough morning
This place used to be have a killer steak sandwich but this last couple I got weren't anywhere near as good nor were they put together that good. Prices have increased but that's happening everywhere.
Second time we went there for all you can eat fish . Both times just got two small pieces then ignored for 20 minutes. No refill on water or fish ? Never again that's for sure.
