Today was just one of those days. Outside in the 90s working. Didn't feel like cooking. So I went to Cracker Barrel. How can anyone go wrong with Cracker Barrel?? The food was excellent. Perfect. The server was the most forgetful. At the time of ordering, I clearly asked for extra butter. At the time of the food being brought to me, I once again asked nicely for extra butter. Now, my food needing butter is getting cold. 3rd time I have to sternly ask for extra butter. After that, she completely ignored me. I guess I'm not getting a dessert...lol..she lost out on a generous tip. At the time of paying I complained to the cashier. She apparently didn't care at all. Kathleen was the cashier. Jaliyah was the server. Funny thing is, I was contemplating on going next door to Texas Roadhouse. Guess where I'll be going next time?...lol..
I met a friend here for breakfast this morning and everything was wonderful. Cracker Barrel has the best pancakes! The bacon, eggs, and fried apples were delicious and hot, too. But the really outstanding part of our meal was our server, Ruben. He listened to everything we asked for, anticipated our needs, and kindly invited us back. We will definitely be there!
Even though very busy, there is a relaxed atmosphere at Cracker Barrel. I like the Southern foods, since I am from Ala. even though living most of my adult life in Vt. We were there on a tour bus and went through pretty smoothly. chicken fried steak is good.
We had a POOR experience with a waitress named Dominique also known Mimi she was RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL. To work as a waitress it's very disgusting and unsanitary to have these long braids and big fake eyelashes working around people's food and to constantly scratching in your head and then handling food and beverage is a total no. She was too busy trying to work tables that clearly had men and ignoring her other tables. Upon arrival she stated it would be a 30 to 40 minutes wait to receive our orders. After her disrespectful ways I couldn't take anymore and when she came finally to offer us something to drink I informed her about her attitude and asked for our check and asked her to cancel our order..The hostess Marnia, was very pleasant and went to get the manager. I waited again and the cashier Scott was also pleasant paged the manager Heather. I explained to Heather our poor experience and she apologized for the rude behavior of Dominique/Mimi. My suggestion is Dominique find a new job for her horrible attitude and also for working around food. SHAME ON DOMINIQUE/MIMI, it's very apparent that she's comfortable with disrespecting customers. She should remember without customers patronizing the business there would be no need for THANKS TO YOUR THREE EMPLOYEES THAT FOLLOW YOUR COMMITMENT TO CUSTOMERS. THANKS
I was so ready to leave a bad review, but the lone woman handling to-go orders today (Sunday) afternoon is an absolute gem. I could NOT be mad at her - they were absolutely SLAMMED which means she was too. That didn't stop her from being friendly and getting out food to us as soon as she could. She communicated well/checked in and was just the best. The food was delicious and now I understand why there were SO MANY PEOPLE there for dine in and to-go orders (Cracker Barrel newbie). I will DEFINITELY alternate my day/time to order when it's less busy BUT I will be back, 95% because of that awesome lady (wish I remembered her name) and 5% for the food.
I had an excellent dining experience at the Willoughby Ohio Cracker Barrel today. The restaurant was busy and our waitress Miss Charmaine checked in with us and took drink orders timely. Our food came timely and was very good and hot. Miss Charmaine provided exceptional customer service, ensuring that we had all that we needed. She has a wonderful personality and was professional and kind. She helped make dining very pleasant. Very positive experience today. We had the best seats located directly in front of the burning fireplace. 5-Stars and highly recommended. Will definitely ask to be seated in Miss Charmaine’s section again.
My husband and I went in for breakfast on Wednesday March 16th. We were greeted and sat within minutes. Our waitress was sort of pleasant not particularly helpful. We don't frequent Cracker Barrel or any restaurant for that matter ( I'm a chef). The blueberry pancakes were undercooked in some ares and overcooked in others. I spilled my syrup and told the waitress who offered me extra napkins to clean it up which she brought out right away and took her time bringing more syrup! She never said I'll get something to get it up...NOPE she brought me the customer napkins to clean it! Wow superb customer service! We won't be back.
Our breakfast was wonderful. Our server was so prompt and pleasant. Our meals were also prepared perfect. This was one of my most pleasant experiences at Cracker Barrel I have had. Thank you
