Charm, outside seating, super menu! Traveling and needed breakfast so this was a choice. Just a bit off interstate but worth it! Scrambled eggs cooked perfectly, had to have the brioche French test-light and delicious. Not overly doused in powdered sugar. The inside is as cool as outside. A bit trafficky outside but I love to dine al fresco so don’t mind the busy stuff.
Breakfast was hot and fresh!! Dining outside was adorable with fresh cut flowers on the table while being tucked securely in the little corner. The omelet was delicious and flavorful with ripe avocado. The tater tots were a dipping surprise:) Loved the friendly service!
Absolutely love CRD! Their food is always consistently terrific and the staff is beyond friendly and personable. Tonya and Sandy are the best!! Their menu has some unique items you can't find anywhere else. So happy that they've added hours and are open for dinner. Highly recommended!! You won't be disappointed!
excellent food and great service.
Service was fast and friendly. Great atmosphere. Fun watching the world go bye on a beautiful day like today .
On a recent visit to Willoughby, my husband and I took his dad out for dinner here and we all loved our meals. I had the breakfast tacos which were delicious, my father-in-law had the steak and cheese sub and my husband did 1/2 salad which he said was delicious along with a very good turkey sandwich. We appreciated that we could order breakfast food for dinner and we all said we would come back for sure. The service was very good so an all around good experience. Although we dined indoors, they have some nice tables outdoors on the Main Street so a fun place to enjoy.
We visited the Chagrin River Diner after eating out rarely during the pandemic. It is in downtown Willoughby. Parking was a little tight, but we found a spot on a side street a short distance away. This isn’t a fancy place. We were here for lunch on a Sunday and the place was filled with both brunch diners and those like us. The service was fast and genuinely friendly, a nice treat given the limited (or no) service we had had during the height of the pandemic. We had a Reuben and a burger. Our server went out of her way to make sure we had exactly what we wanted and followed up. Again, nothing fancy, but just a fun, enjoyable meal in a comfortable setting. You can walk around downtown Willoughby when you’ve finished.
First time visiting. Nice place and atmosphere. Good service and server. Ordered the black bean hummus with fresh vegetables (good), steelhead trout with grilled asparagus and crispy potatoes (all good) and the perch fish fry (not so good) with kale Cole slaw, and crispy potatoes (good). The perch was tough, and over fried. Also ordered the clam Chowder (also not so good - too thin and buttery). Many other dishes that passed by looked very good. Heard many good reviews, so had to try. Will go back again to try breakfast foods (which are served all day) and a build your own burger.
We went for Sunday brunch. It was very busy but the food was good.
Loved the host, she was calm and super friendly even with the place being super packed. Food was very yummy and filling. Our server Kevin was on point efficient and very helpful and friendly .
