The food was great but the service was even better. My boyfriend and I’s first time trying and we will absolutely be back!! Thank you!
The new chicken tenders are great, and this location was not as busy as the other locations. Pay of that is likely due to the locationbeing less visible from Polaris and in a shopping center that still has a couple of vacancies. The only real shortcoming of this HCT is limited seating. The few tables inside don't even fill half of the available floorspace. Sorry for the lack of photos. I only took one picture of the HCT banana pudding. Once you try it, you'll discover that it's impossible to take a picture fast enough to capture the pudding once the lid comes off.
Food was delicious and the service was great. Can’t wait to go back and try more things on the menu. YUM!
Really liked the chicken tenders and fries. Hope they make them permanent. It’s nice being able to select up to 3 heat levels for the tenders so you can sample what you wouldn’t normally try. Extra holy is mouth-numbing and probably has the same flavor as the milder options but it’s impossible to taste it under all the cayenne. Everything is made to order but didn’t take long mid-afternoon on a Saturday.
Stopped in Saturday to try the tenders before they leave. Food was amazing as usual. Tried the tenders and fries. Both were delicious but my heart will always be partial to the Mac & Cheese and Baked beans. Hope they keep the tenders so my new go to can be Tenders with Mac & Cheese and Baked beans! Follow that up with the best Banna pudding I have had.. And the customer service was on point every person we interacted with was so friendly and helpful!!!!
This place has the best food in Polaris, hands down. Fresh, hot fried chicken, creamy homemade macaroni, and now fries! Banana pudding is out of this world and our girl Laree was so attentive. A+ and *chef’s kiss*
All I can say is WOW! My wife and I stopped in randomly while looking for something to eat close to a Volleyball tournament we were attending. Found this nice little Gem due to the big chicken on the side of the building ( nice touch by the way). Great staff and excellent food. Wish we had a Hot chicken takeover in Mansfield Ohio! Thanks for making our experience amazing.
As another small business owner, I try to give recognition to other small businesses that are successfully navigating the crazy times we’re all facing right now.Staff (which was obviously limited, especially with the big snow fall/storm we had the day before) was kind, positive, helpful, and apologized for it taking a couple minutes longer than usual… which was still a very reasonable amount of time. Food was delicious, order was accurate, and the fact that the staff was able to smile/be gracious during an obviously hectic time… that was impressive!
Solid execution of Nashville hot chicken with a fair amount of heat. I got the sandwich (hot) and it delivered. Not over the top spicy, but enough to clear your sinuses. The slaw added some nice crunch to the sandwich, but as a side, it wasn't anything to write home about. The mac & cheese, on the other hand, exceeded expectations. And the best part of my meal was the banana pudding. Super creamy with crunchy cookie bits on top providing a nice contrast. Would happily eat here again!
Presentation was lacking and food was mediocre. Friends had hyped the place up for me and I was excited to visit and have chicken and waffles. The waffles are dissatisfying and the syrup tastes like watered down diet syrup with no buttery flavor. The chicken was tasty but more heat could have been cooked into it or maybe if it was wetter. I never even tried the beans and simply threw them away because the rest was disappointing. The one positive note I will bestow is that the pickle was crisp and juicy. The sweet tea was equivalent to getting a sweet tea from McDonald’s.
