Takeout review. Was at Aldi's and hubs and I were hungry so decided to get some Chinese food. Was not expecting much here but LET ME TELL YOU! They have Beef Chow Fun here!!! I've been craving that for weeks cause can't get that around my area! Was about to just make it myself too! They speak both Canto and Mando here too!Took us 30 mins before we could eat it so it may not be a great critique of what it would be. My craving of beef chow fun was slightly disappointing as it wasn't as "wok hei" as I would prefer and a bit too "wet", but it still took the hankering away. Hubs got his usual sweet and sour pork which was really good, even had pineapples which he says most places don't offer. If we visit that area again or my parents visit, I would totally come back here for some traditional Chinese family style dinner!
One question. Where are the vegetables in my order of egg foo young. The egg rolls and crab Rangoon were delicious. I was very disappointed in the fried rice and in the egg foo yong the gravy with delicious though. Taste overall was just okay. My stomach hurts bad after consuming half of my meal. Will I be ordering again, no thank you.
great place to eat quantity of food worth the price
I've been coming here for over 20 years and it's as consistent as Chinese food gets. The portions are excellent for the price and we can easily feed 2 people lunch for under $15. I don't eat in very often but the inside is a good size with varying sized tables for various sized parties.The egg rolls are some of the biggest and most satisfying I've had from anywhere. I move around the menu a lot, but I quite enjoy the hot spice chicken, cashew chicken, and general tso's chicken most. This food has never made me sick and the people at the counter are nice.Would recommend 100%
Did not seem to know what vegan meant. General tso's tofu has no vegetables and is bland, soft, soggy mess in a soup of decent sauce. Very small rice portion. Quite friendly though.
It's authenticity doesn't show by its menu, but by custom ordering for our Christmas Cantonese cuisine gathering, much better quality, variety and affordable than average restaurants.
Good food and best egg rolls
Veggies are always fresh. But they need to lighten up on the salt and oil.
we go frequently. The prices are reasonable, the food is good, the service is good. Rarely very busy, they do a great take out business.
Strongly recommended it. I have heard great comments from my friend about China House restaurant. I finally got a try, our family enjoyed it. It’s great portion, reasonable price. Restaurant is very clean and service are great! I especially love their noodles and Tofu as my post shows. My husband loves the griddle beef ribs!
