First time here. Ordered a large pep and onion. There wasnt a spoon full of diced onions on the whole pizza. Pepperoni and sauce was good, better than average. But if we order a pizza with only two toppings, but get virtually none of one of them, 3 stars is all I can do.
1.) The service was horrible. It took 20 minutes to get waited on, despite there being plenty of staff standing around chatting…. And it took even longer to get our check.2.) The Draft Beer tasted like whatever candy flavored beer had been run the line prior to the one currently being poured.3.) I’m pretty sure I saw a large unidentified insect scamper down the wall and into a hole in the baseboard.4.) There was NO SOAP in the men’s room… so, does the kitchen staff wash there hands after using the bathroom? ?… But, this was truly the BEST PIZZA I’ve EVER had in Central Ohio !!! ???I think I’ll just order mine for pickup next time…
We ordered pizza from here because it was within walking distance. The dinning room was packed, so we decided to order carry out. Good price and good pizza. In fact we ordered one more time while on our visit.
Columbus or New York? They used to ask this question upon order and I assumed, since 100% of my numerous orders have been Columbus, and since my family and self prefer the thinner crust, would be made as such. Upon arrival only to see the NY style pie. I guess if they will not ask me my preference in the future, I will need to make sure I will cover their responsibility to make sure the customer’s order is complete. 1. What size would you like? 2. Pickup or delivery?3. What would you like on your pizza? 4. What is your name. 5. Columbus or New York???? Five simple questions.
Found this gem, love the establishment, love the food, especially the homemade meatball sub sandwich. Reminds me of making homemade meatballs with my Italian Gram..... so good, melts in your mouth.
My go to pizza of all time. I love the fresh ingredients and the crispy crust of the columbus style pizza. Lots of veddie choices. Try the roastie or the flexitarian. The small is good for two but if you oredr alone you will likely finish all of it. Friendly ambience and good service. Take your own Tabasco sauce.
They have a great NY style pie, and their custom's are very nice. The one caveat is the heartland app; despite there being selection for a future order, it's ignored. Assume all orders through the app are ASAP.
I want to start off by saying they have the absolute best salads at amazing prices! The ingredients are fresh and taste clean and fresh - the homemade dressings are out of this world delicious!We always get the Red Bird Special, which is an 18 inch New York style pizza and it never disappoints! The dessert apple pizza was good. The cheesecakes I wouldn't get again, they reminded me of no bake ones.My son swears by the Columbus style ? pizza. The spaghetti with meatballs is great and of course the Buffalo chicken dip is all you want in an appetizer!The birdie breadsticks are so delicious and are always a favorite and lucky for us a happy hour special!They bartender always mixes up a great adult beverage and they have more in tap than one could drink in a setting.Overall they exceed expectations of a local pizza place and are worth a visit inside - but they sell cocktails to go.
Small place but great food. I’m not a pizza guy but they have good pizza. Busy place on a snowy Friday.
Had a 10” half pepperoni half onion NewYork style pizza with the spicy sauce ! Absolutely bursting with flavor and delicious.. the sauce , cheese and crust are spot on and being from Connecticut I know good pizza ! Their garlic cheese bread was delicious also . My new go to pizza place . Service was friendly , prompt and reasonably priced ! Where have you been my whole life ? Lol ???
