We ordered egg drop soup, veggie lo mein, veggie pad thai, and the spicy eggplant dish. All of the prices were at least a few dollars more per dish than restaurants in the area with similar menus.First the bad. The egg drop soup was pretty bland, and definitely not worth the upcharge compared to nearby restaurants. And the spicy eggplant tasted like pure sugar with very little other flavoring besides spiciness. But, it did have a large portion of veggies.For the good, this was probably the best lo mein and pad thai we've ever had. The lo mein was moist and flavorful. The pad thai was phenomenal, in a rich nutty sauce. Warning that the pad thai came covered in unexpected cilantro, so order it without if you're like me and don't like cilantro. For this reason, I wish they'd list on the website what is in each dish.
I had a great carry out experience. To order was easy over the phone. My food was done in 15 minutes. It tasted great. We got chicken lo mein and sesame chicken. The employees were so nice.
Supported all through Covid. Have eaten here for many years now. Never a complaint. Great food, great service. However today I found the portion has been cut in half but same price. Would have gotten more for Christmas Eve dinner if I had been told. Don't mind paying more, but have now discovered I need to go back out and get more food. ?
We love Sun Garden! We order here often. The service is friendly and the food is always hot, fresh, and delicious. Our favorite meals are their sticky sesame chicken and lo mein. Grab yourself some of their spicy house mustard out of the fridge before you leave.

Sun Garden has been a family favorite for many years. It feels like a little slice of heaven to sit in the dining room and enjoy lunch with your family with the calm music playing and cozy atmosphere. The staff is friendly and kind and they recognize you when you come in. The food is delicious and the portions are generous! The lunch specials are reasonably priced and the amount of food that you get for the money is incredible. We look forward to getting to eat in the dining room again when it reopens, but in the meantime, we will do carry out and enjoy the delicious food at home. Sun Garden will always have our business.
