Our server was very friendly and attentive but that will be the end of my positive comments. While we were trying to converse and wait for our lunch, the manager was seated in the dining room with her phone on speaker. She occasionally walked around us with it on speaker as well, only ending the call about 10 minutes before we left. We were seated near the sushi chef whom we could hear scolding the waiters. Our food was brought out about 5 minutes apart even though we had chicken. My chicken was dry and I didn't finish it. I just don't see myself returning.
There were 16 of us and service was excellent and were a handful. Food was very good.

Our service was horrible. People that were seated at other tables long after our party was seated, we're served before us. I had to ask staff if our meals would be prepared, we then continued to wait. 1.5 hours later we finally got our food. When it was prepared, the rice was under seasoned and over cooked. Proteins were all over cooked and dried out. We had to ask for everything including sauces, silverware, etc. when I called to complain, the owner (Tony) said it was too bad and there was nothing he could do. I stated a simple apology would be nice and that if he couldn't provide that then we'd take our business elsewhere. His response was "ok". This is not the way to retain customers.
My husband and I have been going for years, and decided last night was the last time we give them a chance. The place has declined significantly. The vents no longer work properly so you get gusts of charred food smoke in your face while the chefs cook (I mean thick smoke, not just the normal expected), the chairs all have rips, some even have duct tape! The restrooms are disgusting, any time I've needed to use the women's restroom, I've regretted it. The food quality is inconsistent, the training of the chefs varies significantly! Service is also inconsistent, sometimes its so slow, we've wanted to just leave. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars, is that every once in a while, our chef nails the food. However, this place is in extreme need of training, CLEANING, and updating.
The atmosphere is very fun vibe. The food was phenomenal. This is a must whenever we are back in Ohio.
The food isn't bad. There are two sections: the hibachi seating and the regular. The pricing is the same either place, so your preference as to which place you would like. Price is subjective to individual preferences. I can say our meal was about $130 for 3 individuals, for which we left a $25 tip. My personal preference is not specific for this restaurant, but I can say that everyone enjoyed their meal and service. No issues occurred and the waiter was attentive without being disruptive or anything negative. I do not live in the area and cannot say if I would eat here again due to a this being a one time outing. Nothing negative to say at all. If you would like this specific style of restaurant/food and you feel that the price for the experience is proper, then this would be a good place to consider.
