Went to Penn Station last night and told the older woman that I wanted the Italian chopped fine and well done. She then proceeded to tell me that it was just “lunch meat” and there was no need to make it well done. I thought she was just joking until I read my receipt and saw that well done wasn’t on there. I ask for well done because the meat is very greasy and soggy when cooked lightly and soaks the bread. I’ve never had a penn station employee refuse to make my food the way I asked. Ill just go to another location. The guys working in there were very friendly.
The woman helping take our order was very friendly. She left out an order for a large fry, but the manager saved the day and got my ravenous kiddos some fresh fries to make up for it. Clearly, service has improved here in recent years and the food is still as good as I remember. I love the dagwoods--ham and turkey lightly grilled with onions, tomatoes, mayo, salt and pepper and don't forget the banana peppers!
This Penn Station is heads and shoulders above all the other Penn Stations around, particularly the one located at 5442 Liberty Square Dr, Hamilton, OH 45011. The workers there treat the customer as though they are doing them a favor - instead of being courteous to their customers. I have felt insulted and not appreciated on more then one occasion. I have found the best Penn Station ever in the Becket Ridge location - store #20. If you want to be appreciated - go to this location. Their manager not only knows how to manage but has trained his employees to reflect appreciation and gratitude to their customers.
The worst Penn of any I've ever been to. Consistently sub par.Drive 15 min to a different one unless you want to be disappointed.
Service this afternoon was friendly and quick. It’s refreshing to see people be courteous and happy at their jobs. Made for a good experience.
The meat was overcooked. Very little cheese. The wheat bread was dry. The sandwich was smaller than I expected. Very disappointed

Awesome team at this location! I don’t usually post reviews but we were very impressed by the friendly service, food quality and cleanliness of the restaurant. Management is doing something good here and it shows. We will be back!
