I live in N KY but have a client close by so I stopped in and got a hot Italian Sub (cannot remember which one exactly) and asked for a couple of specific requests...not only were they met perfectly the sub was outstanding! This was in March and have been back several times since, great food and a fun atmosphere....the employees seem to enjoy working there.But, my favorite is the owners response to the review left by the DB from Philly (Frank Horan)....absolutely priceless! I love seeing a snooty east coaster who is filled with feelings of superiority put in their place!!!! Makes me love NEG even more!!!!

If you haven't been here it's the best subs you can get! Hands down gad it for the first time and I'll be back many times! Parking is tough at lunch time but also worth it.
Absolutely amazing sandwiches. The best I have had in 15 years of living in Ohio. Friendly service and reasonable prices as well. Also - the clam chowder is the best I've had outside of New England and was a perfect robin to the sandwiches' batman. Highly recommend giving it a try!
Awesome place and awesome food. It was suggested to me that I give this place a try and I’m glad I did! I read the reviews beforehand and saw the review by the fella complaining that “tHE cHeEsestEaK Is noT A pHIlLy CHEEsEstEak” and the wonderful reply by the owner. This exchange sold me and I obviously ordered the Philly Cheesesteak on my first visit. It may not be a 100% faithful Philly Cheesesteak according to some guy, but it’s the best cheesesteak I’ve had in CINCINNATI hands down!
This place is a hidden gem. I work around the corner, never would I consider going in and eating but I did. Absolutely amazing food. I’m a regular now.
First time here. Went when they were near closing time. Asked them if it’d fine if I make a big order since they’re near closing time. They were perfectly fine with it. Great customer service, vibe and food. Definitely gained a loyal customer.
Teriyaki chicken was great! Definitely coming back on my visit.

If you haven't had this place, try it and tell everyone. It's the sandwich shoppe that just does it so well. Better than any chain by a mile. Love everything about it and I tell everyone I can.
