Please refresh your entire restaurant, the bathrooms are very dirty. We have a nice clean community in West Chester and Mason. The entire interior needs a good quality cleaning and refreshing. The food is decent and the people are very nice, but using the bathrooms tonight was uncomfortable as I saw very dirty stalls and floors..cooks and staff use the same space and we all deserve better, higher dignity.
We sat at the hibachi table and ordered the Dinner for 2 option with fried rice. The chef was super funny and did such a great job entertaining the table. The spring rolls were decent. The California roll was good. We were disappointed that the soup was chicken broth and not miso. We both tried it and just set it aside. The salad was pretty good. All of the hibachi food was good and the portions were large. Our meal came with ice cream for 2. It was one small bowl of vanilla ice cream with whipped cream and sprinkles on top. Not really necessary to the meal. Overall, pretty good dinner.
Miyako (AKA Geisha) is usually my go to place have been for YEARS but after our terrible service & experience yesterday 3/12/2022 Never again? First off we had an reservation for 8:00 after repeatedly being told our table was being cleaned we weren't even seated until after 9:00! Once we were compacted into the table we were given "complimentary" edamame which in by no means was anyway wanted or even close to acceptable. Drink orders were taken & we were given the obligatory salad & soup the chef finally came & confirmed the menu at least three times each time a mistake was made of who had what & each time who had a shellfish allergy got confused. Once the food was prepared my friend was skipped & didn't get her chicken the chef had to rush to get more sent out to prepare for her making her wait even longer to eat & after he got to the seafood portion preparation guess who got SHRIMP put on her plate yep the one with the shellfish allergy she claimed she was full enough but her plate was contaminated and I know she just didn't want to start from scratch on her food ? the ONLY thing that was timely was the server with the checks! And the ONLY reason a tip was given was because gratuity was included automatically due to the fact we were a party of 10 and last but certainly not least the ONLY reason the night wasn't a complete disaster was because of the company of my family & friends who tried to keep the banter light and me preoccupied otherwise this birthday girl would have cussed out every server and hostess in the building. I will NOT be frequenting nor recommending this place anymore.
We had the hibachi. The chef was great. Friendly and entertaining. The food was good.
Went here to try them out.Pros:- The sushi and Sashimi is good quality.Cons:- Old lettuce being served for salads.- The entree’s are overpriced with very little to give food wise. I’ve had the same quality from TV dinners.- Chicken was overcooked.- $10 for 3 soft drinks.If you are just going there for the sushi and sashimi then you are good to go. However, there are better offerings at other similar locations.
Very overpriced for the quality of food. The women working were extremely sweet and were spread thin trying to seat everybody while waiting tables. I did love the egg rolls though!
Went there with my 8 year old granddaughter and we both thoroughly enjoyed the food and our hibachi chef was so entertaining. I will definitely dine there again.
