Good quality food and service! Always a solid location for atmosphere, staffing and food.
We went for Mother's Day, arrived at 9:55 and were quoted a 30-45 minute wait. Surprisingly, they sat us about 20 minutes later. Krista was our server and she did an awesome job. Unfortunately, she and one other person were the only two servers working and it was PACKED! This poor woman was checking people in, seating people, being our waitress, bringing refills, etc. To say that she was overloaded is an understatement. We asked her why she and the other guy were the only two working and she said due to a last minute call off. This is ridiculous as the restaurant should have had more people scheduled to work especially for Mother's Day. We felt very sorry for both server's. Hopefully management will deal with the employee who called off and fire her if it's warranted and will rethink scheduling of staff on holiday's. I also hope they go one step further and recognize these two staff members with extra pay for working so hard on this holiday!
Had great service food was hot my only complaint ham &cheese omelet was dry other than that was great.
The most excellent service and my Double Cheese Pot Roast sandwich was delicious. Amanda was running things and her crew for the night were doing a great job. She is what is needed at a lot of other places.
We had breakfast that morning the waiter did outstanding job checked on us throughout our meal Alfred the cup for the coffee to take with us very satisfied with the service and the food was excellent
Staff was friendly, nice atmosphere..but out of premium coffee mocha drink, and a mistake on the bill changes the service expectations

I had a truly wonderful experience working with the manager of the Union Centre Bob Evans Restaurant on Christmas Eve. Because of unexpected changes in our family situation due to Covid, I tried to place a last minute order online for Christmas Dinner and was unable to do so. I called the restaurant and spoke to a woman who told me online orders were no longer being accepted (sold out). When I explained to her that I had not planned on doing a Christmas dinner at my house the following day (Covid changed plans), she immediately told me to please wait while she checked on matters. The woman got back on the line and told me she could arrange for me to purchase a holiday meal for 4 people. I can't thank this woman enough for going above and beyond the call of duty to help a person late in the day on Christmas Eve. She could so easily have shut down my request at that time, but she didn't. My sons picked up the meal in 15 mins and said the woman (obviously a manager) was friendly as could be. Again, my sincere thanks for such a positive and rare experience in today's world!
Listen. This place? Top. Notch. Our server Brady was nothing short of astounding. That kid is going places. I mean it. God I love Bob Evans.
Great food and great service! They did a great job very tentative and punctual with our food.
