I like to give pizza place 3 times before I rate them. Big dogs the first time wasn't the best I've had,but that may be because I was 20 mins late to pick up because my daughter got sick, so it likely sat for a bit. The last two times I've had it has been AMAZING, best pizza is west chester/liberty, hands down. The big dog and mad dogs are HUGE and will easily feed a group. Also, calzones are wonderful, good amount of filling. Give this place a try!!!
I hate to give a small business a bad review, but I have to say their pizza was nothing special.We ordered the Buffalo Chicken Ranch Pizza, which was sadly just franks redhot, chicken, cheese, and ranch. all you could taste was franks redhot. there were no other stand out flavors or spices. Very unoriginal. I probably wouldn't order the wings, if I ever go back; this pizza was not a great example of their chicken and hot sauce capabilities.We also ordered a Deluxe Pizza. It was decent, again lacked anything that made it stand out, but it wasn't bad. I do feel I could get the same pizza from the freezer section at the grocery store.I ordered online for pick up, it was ready on time and the staff were great. I do feel that the food is overpriced and nothing unique.
So much was wrong in my visit. The pizza was way overpriced. With four drinks, pizza, tip, and tax the grand total was $42. From there we had to clear our own table because every single table was not cleared, most were quite messy because many people didn't finish their food. The pizza was just not very good. Way too much cheese, it was extremely messy to eat and I had to fight to keep it on the slice. The sauce was not to my liking at all, and the crust was very bland. The bathroom facilities were acceptable, not too messy, just old. The door says concealed carry welcome, if anyone is uncomfortable with that policy. The food was not completely inedible and hasn't made me sick yet, and outside the piles of half eaten food and trash the atmosphere is decent with a train set going around. I'd give it a generous 2 stars. If you have low standards for pizza and restaurant cleanliness, and you just love a good train set, maybe you'll be okay with it but for me it's 2 stars.
This was aprox our 6th order in the past year from BD. It was a Monday night, not a slammed Saturday night. It was so bad we will never order from them again. I think the cheese was that cheese substitute ingredient. The.crust was gooey and salty. The house fries were cold and tasted like cardboard. The chicken wings were “ok”. The dipping sauces were gelatinous. There are a lot of pizza places nearby that will get our business. Never again, Big Dog.
We went there over the weekend for the first time very disappointing the people were nice but the food was not all that great
I love Big Dogs Pizza! The staff is always so nice and helpful and the food is absolutely amazing!
My husband and I have been going regularly since we discovered it. We love everything we've tried there. The owner is very personable as well as the staff. The atmosphere is fun and I can definitely say you won't experience another place like Big Dog's. There's something fun on the wall any way you look and trains chugging along around the ceiling.
First time eating there the employees were unwelcoming. Never said thanks or have a nice night. The cashier made a comment on hating people that wore masks (we had masks on). Second time eating there I left my purse. I called and they found it and set it on the front counter right in front of the entrance/exit door unattended. The customer service here is horrible and for that reason we will not be back.
Very thankful to have this quaint neighborhood pizzeria. Yesterday they were happy to take our large party at a moments notice. It had adequate seating for 17. The atmosphere was very relaxed, the all of the varieties of pizzas we ordered were delicious. It was a great experience from beginning to end at BIG DOGS.
love the pizza chips, pizza is great too. really, everything is great!
