This was my first experience at Another Broken Egg. I have to say the restaurant did not disappoint. I had the Egg Blackstone Benedict and it very well may be my favorite eggs benedict I have ever had. If the dish is offered at a breakfast spot, it is usually my go to on the first visit. The tomato was a nice addition. I also really love the green onions and bacon bits on top. The potatoes were golden crispy, which is how I prefer them. Dipping the home fries in the egg yolk and hollandaise is an added bonus of the meal. Yum!My mom had the strawberry pound cake french toast. She really enjoyed it. It was so light and a nice change of pace for typical Texas toast or whatever thick cut bread most places use. I tried a few bites of it myself, although she had eaten all the strawberries at this point. The syrup soaks into it and does cause it to fall apart as you cut the cake into pieces, however that wasn't unexpected and did not takeaway from the fact it was so delicious still. I'm looking forward to a return visit to try out other menu options.
The cinnamon french toast and blueberry brunch margaritas were amazing! We also enjoyed the spiked cold brew and other food.
Service was great at the bar for pick up. It was very busy, which was expected for holiday. But not impressed with the food at all, unfortunately. I ordered strawberry pound cake French tst. It looked like a kids meal. It was $15.50, that dish wasn't worth that much money at all. (I put the juice box in there to show size) no syrup at all, I just ate it dry cause I didn't have any syrup at home.
Wow! Don’t waste your time if there’s a wait. Was told there would be a 45 min wait. Received the text that we were on the waiting list. After 45 min, went inside just to check how much longer and that’s when I was told “It’s going to be longer but we don’t know how much longer. We aren’t allowed to seat people because the kitchen is behind”. I replied with “ok well it shouldn’t be too much longer, right” and she said “we have no idea”. So we left. It’s been an hour and 15 min and we STILL have not received a text that our table is ready. If you are able to text that someone’s on a wait list or when their table is ready, you should be able to text an update with an extended wait time.
Best breakfast restaurant I’ve ever been to, though prices are higher than one would typically expect for a breakfast place. That being said, the prices are as one would expect for the quality and menu offerings. Wish they were open for dinner as breakfast for dinner is a favorite of mine. They are typically busy, so expect a short wait if you come during the morning or brunch rush.
Worst experience I’ve had at any restaurant. Server was slow and got everything wrong. The food and coffee was cold. Everything about this place was bad. Do not eat here. The corporate office is so bad that they don’t call you back when you leave a message to give them feedback. They do not care and it is reflected by the poor conditions in their store.
To most people, they're fine with a bowl of cereal or a cup of coffee for breakfast. Well, others go to Another Broken Egg Cafe! This was by far the best breakfast I've ever had, hands down. Our waitress, Lakisha was respectful and answered all questions we had, being our first time there. With so many menu options, I chose their made from scratch bisquits & gravy which came with three sides! I've never had sausage so good! The whole plate was like an artillery shell of happiness that explodes in your stomach, starting a war of emotion.
Wow! Flavor explosion! First time here won't be my last. Everything came out hot and delicious. Tried City Grits ( I don't usually eat grits, like ever...) and I finally became a fan of grits! Everything was cooked to perfection. Have to also mention the hostesses were so positive and joyful. What a way to start a Friday! Great service. Thank you!
This is the best breakfast place I’ve ever been to. I’m not a big breakfast fan but Another Broken Egg Cafe has me questioning my judgement.Their variety of food and drink offerings make it hard to choose what you want. I decided on a spiced rum cold brew (delicious) and later on the Abe Famous Infused Mary (perfect!) to drink.I went with the Crab Cake Benedict and my husband got a burger (he is also not a breakfast lover). We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and both cleaned our plates. The eggs on my Benedict were cooked perfectly. Our server was super friendly, attentive and fast!Definitely recommend!!!
Went here for brunch today with my mom to celebrate my birthday and the food and service were so amazing. A few ladies were giving the hostess a hard time about the wait as we were about to be seated and she handled herself and the situation very well given that the two women were being incredibly rude. Our server was a very friendly gentleman who gave us complimentary beignets since it was our first time visiting. With a full restaurant he came to our table many times, our food and drinks were incredibly quick, and he was there with refills before we even asked. Seriously, the best cinnamon rolls, potatoes, and bacon! And the lemon blueberry mimosa was to die for. So dang good!! Will definitely be back!
