Great place to eat and celebrate a special occasion
Friendly staff! Great Cigar lounge and Amazing Spa! The grounds are beautiful and relaxing
Wonderful birthday meal with family. Food was great, service even better. Loved that they let you linger and even brought a cake with a candle. Beautiful piano music.
STAY IN THE GRAND SPA SUITE!!! What a room!!! Everything in this hotel from the cleanliness to the food, atmosphere, amenities….couldn’t complain! Spa, cigar bar, wine bar, everything we ate was delicious. Wish we stayed longer.
I had a wonderful experience at the spa, with Jazmine as my massage therapist! I came in on a cold snowy day and bought a 90 minute hot stone massage, followed by the Vichy and sea salt scrub. Both were absolutely amazing and worth every penny. I left refreshed and relaxed! I would highly recommend both services. I also recommend Jazmine as she is sweet, professional and personable. 10/5 from me!
My sister and I stayed here for 2 days in Nov. 2021 (girls' getaway). The hotel is beautiful, clean and staff very welcoming. The spa was fantastic! Anna and Nancy took very good care of us. We did not go in the indoor pool, but the Roman Spa/pool outdoors was really cool. The first day we went in it, it was snowing, which was really pretty. There were not very many people staying here at this time, so no problem getting dining services. We had breakfast at The Atrium. We got a table overlooking the Roman spa. The giant glass of fresh squeezed OJ was great and the 3 egg omelet was good-just too huge. The Chop House for dinner was wonderful! Staff hustled all evening. My steak was delicious and my sister's salmon was great as well. Very good prices also. I would give this resort 5 stars if it weren't for the AWFUL cigar smell in the hallways.
Online reservations were easy as well as communicating with reservations and guest services prior to our arrival. Reserved parking for registration and the way the hotel is set up multiple entrances from parking lot to suites. Check-in was seamless. We engaged with all the friendly staff at check-in and concierge was helpful as well. We stayed in the Grand Spa Suite. The suite was fabulous and is a definite must when staying at this resort. This is an adult only suite with a lot of wow factors. We enjoyed the two person hot tub (a real hot tub and not a jetted tub), the steam shower w/bench, and the main entertainment area. The powder room was a delight with the bomb lighting. Separate full bath was a bonus. This suite is large with plenty of room for together time and spending time alone. The Roman Bath was beautiful at night and it is heated, even in December! However, it’s still winter. The indoor pool was nice and hosted more kids and families. The Rec center was nice and cozy, and has a bar. Thumbs Up: The Grand Spa Suite was everything this tired, overworked mom needed. The Atrium had a tasty menu. The chicken nachos were delicious. Expect resort pricing for food and drinks. The tv apps allowed for own login and use. Thumbs Down: The chaise chairs in the suite were badly stained and soiled. Like Motel 6 stained. This is unacceptable for any resort labeled as “upscale” or “luxury,” especially for one of its finer suites. The cigar/cigarette smell emanating from it source into the lobby and suite hallways was noticeable and unpleasant. Not a gripe, just something to be aware of. Noise. The Grand Spa Suite is situated next the parking lot, as most suites are. Across the way is a restaurant. From the bedroom only we could hear music playing that sounded like it was coming from outside until 2 am. I am a light sleeper and that was a bit discomforting. There was also what sounded like children running above us then heavier foot steps of what we gathered were the adults chasing after children. It’s the holidays and we just wanted to relax so the noise was something we forcefully tuned out. But still … Overall, I would venture to the Grand Resort for the Grand Spa Suite again.
great food great service!
We had no idea such a nice resort was so close. We came in June for the first time and loved it. We decided to get a group and do an overnight and it was fun and relaxing. Going in the Roman pool in the cold was very enjoyable. We will be back again for sure.
If you are looking for a great family getaway with awesome food, service, and fun this is the place to be. Located 1 1/2 hours outside Pittsburgh, PA. Beautiful clean pools, outdoor heated tennis bubble, recreation center, and so much more. And tons of golf. They offer a variety of room types, spa services, too much to even list. Can’t wait to return and could truly make this a week long trip next time. Good price point as well for the amenities for an upscale resort. My 8 and 12 year old kids didn’t want to leave. A winner.
