We came in around 8pm on a Friday night. There was a line about half way down the counter. Young lady with purple hair (did not get her name) was working by her self. She did an amazing job at staying calm while people kept walking in. Everyone was super patient with her. There should be no reason she should be working by herself on a Friday night. This girl deserves so much credit.
I’m a door dasher and this is probably the worst place I’ve been to around the evening. The two younger kids that work in there care about absolutely nothing. There is no hustle. They don’t tell you if they’re working on your order or if it’s done. I was in there for 15 minutes tonight and got zero help for the second night in a row. The people in line didn’t get helped the entire time I was In there. They probably got 4 different mobile orders while I was inside, and every single one was ignored along with all the dashers that were waiting. Two kids and no management. I feel like I’m turning into my parents writing this, but this place deserves a terrible review. Get some help in there or someone with some hustle! Maybe a manager!
There was one girl working on Tuesday, people kept arriving and this poor girl had absolutely no help, I even saw a man walk out because of slow service that was not this girls fault. Management must be awful here.
Ordered a cake for my son and paid upfront he just went to get it. He was told they don't know why but it was never made to come back tomorrow evening and it will be done then! This is the second time this had happened here! How can you do business this way?
Ice cream is always good, the coffee is my absolute favorite!
Walked in usually get greeted but a mean faced woman stood there and walked away saying I’ll be damned when someone asked her to write happy bday on a cake. She had a NOPE SHIRT on. Very rude and then the kid behind the register took our order basically the only person working and she stood texting with gloves on her phone. Then proceeded to slam stuff and told the grub hub driver she cancelled the order because they didn’t make it. Very disappointed. Sad. I loved the Nile’s store previously.
I don't see why this place has negative reviews, the people are so friendly and it's the cleanest one I've seen. I highly recommend
Idk what happened to this place, but under the new ownership it’s disgusting. I went twice recently and each time waited around 10 minutes for the lady to finally decide to come out of the back to wait on us. She never looked out to see if she had any customers. She was on her phone in the back and doing god knows what else back there. Since we had a nice long time to stand there and wait, we could really look around and see just how gross everything is now. The spoons they give you to eat with are dirty and the handles are covered in old ice cream. Napkin dispensers have old ice cream on them. The waffle bowls are just sitting out in the open air, and there are flies flying around. We ended up just leaving. It’s sad because this place used to be so cute, clean and cheerful. And it’s not that I’m not empathetic to the fact that the new owner may “not have any help.” If you have time to sit in the back scrolling on your cell phone, you have time to clean up your nasty restaurant.
Ice cream was good of course, but the staff needs a lot of training in customer service! They all acted like we were bothering them for coming in. No explanations or help for ordering, they all stood there like they were depressed. I can’t believe a place that just reopened hired a staff that acts like this.
