This is the real deal. Delicious pizza like nothing else around. I highly recommend it!

This place was good the first couple times I went there but the last couple times were disappointing. The vegetarian pizza was soggy and had no flavor. I think it might have been because there was barely any sauce on it. It was also just luke-warm. The time before that I customized one of the bowls and just wanted the protein, veggies and salad and they gave me rice with it anyway when I checkmarked that I did not want it. I gave it 3 stars just because I did have it before and thought it was one of the best places to get homemade fresh and healthy versions of Pizza and Mediterranean food but the recently quality makes me unsure if I will go again.

Excellent pizza, very fatty, chewy, flavorful cheese, they cook up fast, and the crust is phenomenal. The salads are soso, but the falafel sandwich is delicious. On the other hand, they had some of the worst, over sweet baklava I've ever had.
I have had their pizza at least 100 times. I just got the most undercooked pizza I have ever had. So much flop. No undercarriage. Dont know who made that one but they should be fired like their pizza. A wood fire pizza is suppose to be crispy. Hope dave portenoy ever goes there. 2.1. Thats my review
ZaZa's is located super close to multiple motels such as the Residence Inn that I stayed at while visiting Toledo. Really close..ZaZa's is nice and clean both inside and out.I ordered the Mediterranean pizza. Wow.. so dang good. Crust/dough is light, thin, and wood fired. A bit flimsy if I'm being honest. The toppings are fantastic. Tomatoes are fresh. Sauce is of great quality and taste. Good Tomato flavor. Cheese is fantastic. Not greasy at all. The kalamata olives are a perfect touch for a mediterranean pizza.The waitstaff is fantastic.Pros: Great food! Clean establishment, friendly employees. That wood fired flavor is wonderful.Cons: None.I highly recommend this place. Please check them out.
My husband and I recently started getting food from ZaZa and it's definitely one of our new favorite places. We've had excellent experiences here each time and by now we've ordered various things. The menu is vast -- the falafel sandwiches are the best around hands down, the gyro is divine and their wood-fired pizzas are delicious and fresh every time. Appreciate that all the meat is halal and that there are vegan and vegetarian options. My husband says the food here tastes the closest to the restaurant food from his hometown overseas that he's found at restaurants around the Toledo area, and that means a lot to him. The environment is clean, atmosphere is really nice and the staff is always warm, welcoming and friendly. Owner is very pleasant and courteous. They will honor special requests when they can. Watching the staff/chefs cook and prepare food I've noticed how careful and attentive to detail they are while consistently keeping the cooking area and equipment clean (we hugely appreciate this) and making the food in a swift, timely manner. This is clearly fresh food that proves itself. We'll certainly keep coming back!
