We had a great experience. Our server Renee was fantastic. She took time and talked with our kids and remembered their names. Our one daughter was acting like she was a server and when Renee saw she gave her some pointers and a notepad so she could really do the part. I would return again just for her. On top of that the food was delicious. I recommend the Durty Mac and Cheese. There are a nice variety of options though. Good option to go with the family or to have drinks with friends.
Good wings and good service, wife had a summer cranberry salad and she liked it. I had the meatloaf sliders and that was also good. Sat outside in a nice night with good service and baseball and a concert were happening so our waitress did good with a backed up bar.
BLT... ITS NOT ALWAYS easy to find a good BLT. goodness knows why, everyone loves bacon.. easy parking fun atmosphere and good food. LIMITED HOURS POST COVID, so look that up in advance.
Great dining choice in Toledo! The food was very good, especially the wings! They were so tender and fell off the bone, yet they still had a crispy outside. The menu had a lot of options- I ordered an Italian sandwich as my main course and it didn’t disappoint (I did ask for no olive tapenade because I’m not a fan of olives) and ended with the chocolate bread pudding, which was amazing! It had two sizes and I ordered small but I could’ve definitely ate a large- that good. The service was one thing we weren’t super impressed by, our server didn’t check up on our table much and didn’t get any refills until we were done eating. It wasn’t extremely busy, as we came around 2pm on a Thursday. Overall, though, the drinks and food were very satisfying and we are glad we chose this restaurant during our short time in Toledo!
The best reuben I've ever had! And they took off a drink from my bill that I didn't like and that I didn't drink. I thought that was amazing. Our waitress was great. I just wish they would retire the corner table by the front door and put in some waiting benches. Our experience was dampened by the people standing so close to us waiting for a table and by people coming in and out so frequently. Clean place w great food and drinks!
I came in here last year when things were locked down in Michigan for Covid. I really enjoyed this place.It's located right in the heart of Downtown Toledo by the Mud Hens' ballpark. It's a pretty cool building. It's all brick and has kind of an old vibe. It seems like it gets pretty lively when it gets late.All of the food that we ordered was quite good. But the one thing that stood out to me were the chicken wings. They were small and nice and tender; almost fell off of the bone. Just terrific ?Overall, this place gets 5 stars.
My family went to this location after an event. For this restaurant I usually get the same thing because I look forward to the big Italian. Other factors that are dynamic would be customer service and cleanliness. I did not use the restrooms on this visit but the dining areas were in good shape.I would give our waitress a 5 out of 5. She was polite, attentive, knowledgeable, and when she did not know the answer to a question she figured it out and got back to me quickly.
This place is almost always busy for a reason. The staff does a really good job here. The food has always been great. I like how they have a vast variety of food on the menu so you can get a salad one day and the most unhealthy fried food the next. I feel like I can keep ordering different things and never get stuck with the same one or two dishes like most places.I like the fact they have local music at night. And I always appreciate how they tend to be open when most other places are not. I can always count on stopping here because other places might be closed.
As always, fabulous. Wish they'd bring back the maple bacon bread pudding.
Great atmosphere - old time brick walls; Great location - in the old downtown waterfront area - if your looking for pub food before a Mudhens game. But mist importantly good food - with a very extensive menu! We're not talking 3 or four options only, but dozens of burgers, wraps or sandwiches. I loved my "Delux Durty Bird Burger" that came with bacon and pulled pork on top of a nice sized and wonderfully seasoned beef patty. I did need "both hands" Yum!
