Stopped in on a road trip to grab a bite. Obviously came for the waffles and they didn’t Disappoint. Food was served up fast and hash browns were crispy just like I ordered them. The gals in there as the waitresses were friendly and quick with the coffee refills.
Fast, clean, affordable, polite staff and delicious!I'm from Michigan and we do not have waffle houses around there. Whenever I go to cedar point waffle house is a guaranteed stop. After trying several locations this is my preferred location!
Friendly staff, quick service and good food
Arrived at this location at 530am to be told they could not take any more orders for the night. When asked why, since this is a 24hr location and there were two other customers seated eating. we were told they had just been busy and if we wanted to wait 30-45 minutes for the 1st shift to take over that they could serve us. I would give them zero stars if this allowed.
At about 11:00 pm my wife and myself entered the Waffle House on central avenue and was seated by the waitress. We noticed that there were about four tables of guest that were seated and not being served, one other couple walked in after us and the waitress told them that they were not talking anymore orders until they were caught up, the couple responded by saying that they were willing to wait. I decided that after hearing what the waitress had said that it was time for us to exit. What bothered me the most was the fact that the cook was standing with his arms crossed looking at the guest not even trying to make an effort to do anything, this in my opinion was inexcusable. Shame on your staff for displaying this form of incompetence.
My experience at waffle House on central Ave, Sylvania Oh. Was horrible, I will be calling in the morning and the manager will review all the cameras. I was there for 55 mins. I couldn't even get anything to drink. They would not serve me because of my race. I will be contacting the owners to review the cameras. I'm not like this but they treated My buddy and I like dogs because of our race. I will be contacting a lawyer.
Never offered refills. Waitress very unknowledgeable about menu. Food came out segmented, waffle did not arrive with other food came out 20 minutes later. Waitress left in the middle of us eating did not pass is off to other staff. Had to wait for shift manager to find our ticket. Only got a half hearted well that was the morning crew, not second shift. Will not be returning to this waffle house. It is worth the drive to the Reynolds road location.
Such a great experience! My husband and I came in on Valentines Day on the way home from Cleveland. We just wanted some good food but wasn't expecting what we came into. Everything was delightfully decorated, down to the light bulb colors. The staff was super friendly, gave us some sugar cookies and even took a polaroid photo for us and put it in a cute card. The food, my goodness - fast, and so good! Recommend, 5 stars.
Never again! Our waitress was slow and inattentive, the cook was slow, my food was lukewarm and it was FREEZING in the restaurant.
