Excellent food! We had the black pepper tuna appetizer, the pork dumpling, lamb skewer, udon yakisoba and Ramen with soy broth and tofu. De.li.shus! Highly recommended this place.

After living in Okinawa, Japan for 2.5 years, this is the closest we’ve got to feeling back there again. Literally just a little hole in the wall restaurant, and that’s exactly how the best restaurants in Oki were. My husband’s favorite is definitely the sushi (especially the salmon roll) lol If anyone comes to visit, or even people in Toledo who know nothing about it, we always make sure to take them here, and everyone loves it
Quick sushi lunch, service was speedy, so there was a pile up of dishes. Everything I had: Lunch sashimi (Chef Choice); Kani Salad; flying fish and smelt rice sashimi was all appetizing. My company ordered a couple of sushi rolls and steak hibachi. His only complaint was that the vegetables weren't to his liking.
We get carryout from Tougen often, we like the sushi specials and the noodles they offer. Not the most amazing sushi in the world but definitely worth the price. I have also had their ramen which was decent. The service is good and the menu online is approachable. Inside is very small and noisy so we do not dine in.
Best bowl of ramen I have ever had in Toledo! Such a hidden ?! If you enjoy delicious ramen, you need to stop here!

Love it! The food is great and I’ve been looking for some ramen around Toledo for awhile. I finally found it and it was fantastic! I’ll be back again and again. Oh, and the waiter was funny and helpful!
Very good sushi & sashimi with reasonable pricing. Like many businesses these days they sometimes struggle to have all of the variety of foods available but there’s always a good selection.
My new favorite Sushi place. Great food, casual atmosphere, great staff, and very fair prices. We will be back again!
