I'm currently planning a 30th birthday party for boyfriend, I was inquiring about a beer mug cake. She messaged me back via Facebook messenger, telling me they don't make alcohol related cakes...I've never heard of such a thing. I recommend Cake Arts Bakery here I'm Toledo. Very nice people, and they thought the beer mug cake was "cute." Not to mention their cakes look better, and are better priced.**update** The owner personally responded to me via Facebook messenger, again, with the exact reply she has to my review on here. No I did NOT ask for a quote, BUT I did see the prices she charged for cupcakes online. Cakes Arts Bakery does offer their cupcakes HALF the price she does. To be fair, she did say it was a neat idea, but, still wouldn't make the cake. (No loss) However, she did accuse me of "functioning in manipulation." Hopefully, this updated review eases her bigoted mind.
What a delicious surprise! We took advantage of her Autumn Flare special and tried five different flavored slices instead of a single cake. LaGresha takes pride in her craft and each flavor was what you hoped for and not just loads of sugar.
I have travelled nearly three hours for these beautiful cakes. The owner offered to meet me half way but I didn't mind the drive. Always perfect, always delicious and always worth it. I wish she'd open a second location in Cleveland!
Take the Cake created the most wonderfully beautiful and delicious birthday cake we have ever had. LaGresha took my ideas for my wife's 40th birthday cake and improved on each one. The look on my wife's face when she saw the cake for the first time was priceless. I won't go anywhere but Take the Cake from here on out.
I live in a different county but needed to order a birthday cake for delivery. She delivered a beautiful, tasty cake to the University of Toledo campus. If you have a student (or, as in my case, a professor) you love attending UT but can't deliver a cake to them yourself, give Take the Cake a call. She even texted me a photo of the birthday boy happily holding his cake. ?❤?

These cakes look good and taste even better!!! Mrs. LaGresha does an awesome job! She did our wedding cake, as well as our gender reveal cake, and our 1st baby shower cake! Not to mention the cakes and cupcakes I have purchased in between those!
I asked for a Star Trek cake with planets and all. It was beautiful! It was also delicious! Anytime I need a cake a special occasion this is the place I go to!
