I had My very first & LAST visit today at Shawarmaholic… I so excited to try this place so I am extremely disappointed! I ordered a chicken shawarma wrap and ate half of this wrap before pulling out a long piece of blonde hair out my mouth mid bite!!!! Absolutely unacceptable!! I am disgusted I also called and reported this and the employee or whoever answered seemed unconcerned about my complaint telling me to come by tomorrow and he’ll “see what he can do about it” in an unconcerned tone.. very unprofessional I would not recommend this place to anyone!
Ordered the chicken shawarma wrap and I I received a wrap with 2 French fries a pickle slice a a little mean with sauce and maybe some feta (can't tell because you can't see anything) . The taste is bland for being middle eastern cuisine and there is very little to the wrap. I would not come here again after having this be my first experience.
This used to be one of my favorite take out places. Apparently, it has been sold and the new owners are destroying it. Portions used to be ample and reasonably priced. Now, sides such as cole slaw or hummus are packaged in 3 1/4 oz cups, about half what they used to be. Plates used to be served on a bed of lettuce with onion, cucumber and tomato. No longer. Rice, formerly considered a side, is now the predominate item with the meat placed on top. And when I say rice, I mean a LOT of it,,probably because it's a cheap filler. Plates also used to be served with pita, but that, too, appears to have gone by the wayside. All of this on top of an increase in pricing. Wait time for food is about double what it used to be. We ended up waiting over 20 minutes. One poor worker seemed to be doing 90% of the work while the other almost seemed to be in the way. The restaurant was always clean and tidy, but is now looking dirty. My shoes shouldn't stick to a floor when I walk on it. Oh,,and if you have a Groupon for this place, forget trying to use it. The new owner refuses to honor them. I don't know what caused the former owner to sell, but I'll never go back.
I guess I'm a bit confused my boyfriend ordered beef shwarma and I ordered gyro meat since their was no lamb option on the build your own section on door dash. because in my various other experience with other places "mixed meat" is beef/chicken. So I was alittle sad about not getting lamb, but why was the gyro and the shwarma plate exactly the same thing? I thought their was a difference in seasoning of the meats? The beef is pretty dry also other wise it would have been wonderful.
Tried this place from Groupon...OMG!!!! My new favorite place to eat. Great customer service, massive servings. I could not finish my meal and oh so delicious.
Grub hub order-Quick, delicious and warm! Ordered the chicken shawarma wrap, gyro plate, hummus and Mozz sticks. Would definitely order again!
Beef and lamb gyro was pretty good. Good flavorful meat, fresh warm pita and good sauce. Hit the spot!
Food is good. Price is on point. But if you don't know what to order the staff isn't very helpful in figuring out what is what.Still, for the cost, price, & convenience it is well worth atopping by.
