When we walked in seated ourselves, the waitress came to our table within a couple of minutes. Giving us menus & taking drink orders. Actually wasn't busy. Waitress came back with our drinks & took our orders. Food was good with decent portions. Even though it was almost lunch time we both ordered breakfast. Which they serve all day. I think that is awesome. The interior has been redone, the restaurant looks great. We had a nice dining experience.
Prices are fair, great service and excellent food. Recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice lunch or dinner for a decent price. ?
Good food, good service. Clean restaurant, went in for breakfast. Not many people there when we went, had wonderful service from our waitress and food came out warm and timely.
I am giving one star because it won't allow me to give zero. Today I remembered why we quit coming here. We got 2 burgers that were way over cooked and I even ordered the one rare and the other medium with some pink. They were both well well done. The taste was horrible, not sure what seasoning they are using now but I am having a hard time getting that nasty taste out of my mouth. I would have had better food from McDonald's and I hate McDonald's burgers. Needless to say we put the burgers in the trash, couldn't even give them to my dogs. They ate better than us they had burger King whopper patties.I feel sorry for the waitresses they are the one losing money coming to work there with no customers. The cooks nasty food chased them all away. The wait staff is very friendly and happy to please customer.
It's been a long time since my wife and I went there, but the renovations are wonderful. We ordered breakfast after church Sunday. Had comfortable seating, ther service was wonderful, and the food was excellent and plentiful. We will definitely go more after church on sundays.
Eggs, bacon, & toast were perfect; home fries were dried out and old from sitting on the grill for hours.After 2 bites I didn't eat them.But now an hour later I'm nauseous and sick to my stomach.DON'T EAT THE HOME FRIES! ?
High priced for mediocre gordans food I will never go back here again 2 biscuits n gravy and 2 sodas 2 hashbrowns $42 the place was clean staff was nice but them prices though
The food was really good, but my plate was advertised as a pound of bacon, look at my plate and you be the judge. I'd say closer to 1/2 lb of bacon.
I love this place!!! Home town feel, and our waitress was phenomenal, my coffee cup barely got to half way and she was floating by to refill! The food- I ordered the all meat omelet with a side of corn beef hash - man lemme tell ya, this place makes some GRrreat breakfast! Thoroughly impressed!
Disappointing visit to River Diner today. Staff was not an issue. First time trying breakfast there. Ordered Country Fried Steak. Patty was overdone. Gravy on top was scant and tepid. I asked for more gravy but never received any. Eggs and potatoes were dry and flavorless, kinda like hospital food.Return trip not likely.
