Don't get to go as often as I would like. The food last night was fantastic. We ordered the ultimate feast, stuffed mushrooms, artichoke dip, stuffed talipa dinner, and the bar harbor. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. For the sides we had the brussel sprouts and lobster mash. All was fantastic! Can't wait till we get to go again. Also, the waitress was friendly and polite.
The biscuits and the server Jillian were the best part of the visit. My husband is not picky, but did not like the pizza. He loves coleslaw! But he nor I ate that because it tasted old and mushy. We didn't know if it was the recipie, but we didn't chance it. I got the fish and chips. The fish had no flavor, and was pretty greasy. The fries tasted old. The kids didn't finish their food either. I have NEVER left so much food, we didn't bother with leftovers. Will not be back.
We arrived at a busy time when staff was a bit light, the hostess seated us, and we were sort of forgotten, we asked for help and Marvin, a first class professional made it a point to make our special evening one of the best in memory. We must complement the staff and management for the fantastic meal and courteous, kind helpful fantastic treatment we received from Marvin, who is a Cook, and should be in charge. I have never had a better meal or service at Red Lobster in my many years and many locations of patronage. Thanks Red Lobster, Thankyou Marvin.. Highest recommendation for the Monroe St Red Lobster.
An hour wait at 7:00 pm on a Saturday night. Averaged $30 per person not including tip. Only two cocktails. Portions were average in size. Staff had no urgency in their serving speed and had them complaining to each other right next to us about the bartender getting more tips than them. A conversation that no customer should ever hear. Management was seen running food but not managing. Seemed to be short handed which is the norm anymore. I would think twice about going again anytime soon.
This is an older restaurant. Long wait for the hostess to show up to greet customers. Once finally seated the service was actually pretty good. The server was busy but very polite. It didn't take long for our order to arrive. The food was hot and good . I recommend. Nice job
Ordered to go and my order was originally wrong when I went to first pick it up and then afterwards it was cold at the restaurant and the flounder was undercooked, incredibly small and bland. My rice was undercooked as well and my shrimp were very greasy. The shrimp in my pasta as well were cold.
Love Red lobster since I was a kid and will continue to support it until end of time.
I used to love coming to this location, but they have gone down dramatically. Last week, I placed an order for my mom for pick up. It was well after "lunch" hours, yet they gave her the "lunch" sized portion which was actually a snack sized portion. When I called to make them aware and possibly get either a refund or a new order, I was told there was nothing they could do about it. This is the becoming a norm from this location.
My boyfriend and I are done ordering from red lobster. They continuously forget half the order and the portions just continue to get smaller. Prices increased this year but seemed to be smaller portions. Once we get home (10 minutes) the food is cold. I took a break from the carry out for a year, I figured it was staffing issues in the kitchen, then to find we get the same treatment.
Terrible for a well known seafood chain. The feed was no so great. The drinks were terrible. Service was slower than expected. Just an overall negative experience.
