I ordered ahead online. I went to the drive thru to pick up my order and was left sitting for several minutes. I got to the speaker and told them that I was there to pick up my order. They FINALLY came back and never apologized to me for the long delay. They told me that I needed to get out of line because it would be awhile before it's ready. I ordered a kids meal, a combo meal, some beignets and got free chicken for ordering online. I ended up going inside to wait in line. There were 2 customers ahead in line. I waited for almost 25 minutes before talking to an employee to retrieve my order. I still had to wait an additional 10- 15 minutes. I didn't get everything I ordered. My kids toy was no where to be found and the beignets were missing. I went back inside with my receipt and was told they didn't have any. I had to go online and get a refund. It was increasingly difficult and inconvenient considering I spent over an hour from the time I ordered to getting some of my order. The food was cold, it was hard- the biscuits were hockey pucks and I was extremely disappointed in the quality of the food. I have been wanting to try Popeyes for several years to see what the hype is about. It was terrible. Terrible food, terrible service, terrible wait times and unfriendly employees. I will NOT be back. I'd rather eat moldy dumpster food than to return to Popeyes. Thanx but no thanx.
I placed a mobile order near the “lunch rush”, and was sure that I’d be waiting forever. I showed up 5 minutes before my order was supposed to be ready. I planned on going inside to pick it up, but the lobby was closed (not sure why). I was a little frustrated because the drive thru line was long. The line moved super quick and the lady working the drive thru was super friendly! Our order was ready when we got to the window, and it was FRESH! No complaints here, just wanted to give credit where it’s due. You see lots of complaints, but not much praise.
They were switching out customer orders in the parking lot. I had ordered a 10 piece family meal and the surf and turf with lemonade. The only correct item I received was the 10 piece chicken they gave me small sides for the family meal no side for the surf and turf and no drunk for the surf and turf. You could not pay me to return to this location.
Heard a lot of good things about popeyes so IWas excited to try my first chicken sandwich from them.We went thru the drive through and ordered original chicken Sandwich meals. We ordered strawberry lemonade with our meal and was told that they were out of it. We then changed our drink order to a sprite instead and was then told that they were out of cups so we could not get a combo. We also ordered a shrimp box and was told they were out of shrimp. We then ordered some macaroni & cheese and was told they were out of that as well. Ended up just getting the sandwiches and potatoes. Once home we took our first bite of the chicken sandwiches and found them to be fried so hard that half of it couldn't even be eaten. They only edible item were the potatoes and they were even stingy with those. We went around 6pm, not like it was closing time so can't understand why they were out of so much and the stuff they did have wasn't worth eating. This app wouldn't allow me to leave no stars,so i had to leave one in reality i would have left negative stars or a warning label for others to stay away. Won't go back .
3x was shorted a meal, last time also shorted sides and they didn't give ant sauce. Tried calling they hang up. Went back and waited over 40 min. Just for them to tell me they are closed; this was around 9:40 & they close at 10, I was in line before 9:00 and my original order was "filled" before 8:00. Biggest waste of time. Last time I am letting them steal my money. Wish I could give them a 0.
Horrible service and the employees DO NOT CARE!!! I ordered a 2 piece chicken with red beans and rice. The container for the red beans didn’t have a lid on it they covered it up with my biscuit. No ice, no small or medium cups.. the chicken wasn’t done and the service is terrible…Just throw the whole Popeyes away
Gonna give this 1 star only because I can't do less, the chicken here is terrible, was served to me and was so dry it should have been Jerkey..they are out of many items and it's just a sad dump, and what's up with the sign blocking so you can't see what's going on with my credit card? Seems suspicious in its placement.now the attitude of the employees is another conversation, nothing bad said but seemed entirely put out by serving me.. over all thought is this,.... AVIOD THIS PLACE, NOTHING GOOD TO BE HAD HERE!I will never return, hopefully it's just this one site, cherry st in toledo, don't go here..
Just sat in the drive thru for ten minutes waiting to place my order and nobody was there or ever said anything, so I had to leave. This place is 100% a joke.
rudest place I've ever been to ghetto is the right word ghetto and the worst way you could ever imagine from the initial meeting to the greeting to the farewell. I've never been cussed at when ordering food before until I went here. I went there today for the third day in a row now still didn't have macaroni and cheese but at least today they did have their fryers on and were willing to sell me some chicken last time I came through they just told me no they're not going to serve me any fresh chicken. And if you're talking about ignorance boy do they have it if there was ever a slogan I'm sure that they'd have it on point.
if I could leave a zero star review I would. The absolute worst experience I’ve ever had in any type of fast food establishment. customer service is not something you will be receiving if you go to this particular Popeyes matter of fact, you probably won’t get what you’re looking for off the menu either. they don’t even have ice.
