Reservation for 4 on a Friday night! Table ready when arrived. Urban chic interior , cozy feel. Menu interesting and varied. Easy to get a meal for nearly any diet. Nice wine selection , properly served. Appetizers didn't tempt us- deviled eggs?, Salads nice variety. Beets salad light and flavorful, house salad- mixed greens

The experience with Plat8 was amazing. They opened on a Sunday for me for my small wedding reception and it was so effortless! All I had to do was show up! I would recommend them to anyone that HATES planning! The food was AMAZING. All my guests were SO happy!

Loved it! Reminded me of Top Chef! We had the French Onion Soup, Fried Green Tomatoes, I had a Wedge Salad with Filet on top, and he had a BLT with candies bacon with a fried green tomato Gouda and an amazing aioli!! Loved it and looking forward to going to get it for lunch tomorrow! Thank God for a new restaurant for us! Tired of the others! These picky eaters who like creative cooking are happy! 10/10!! oh the pear martini and Manhattan drink with bourbon ridiculously good also!! ❤️??

This is an outstanding restaurant that deserves to be back in everyone’s rotation. Food, service and cocktails were great.

Great little place. Wife had been there previously but it was my first time...I was leary of a "fancy little restaurant " but it could not have been more pleasant or delicious.

You'll find better food at a lower price almost anywhere else. The best service we had was when they came to clean our table as we were walking out the door.

I've been here a few times and it never disappoints. Definitely is one of the best restaurants in the area. Don't skip the brussel sprout appetizer and short rib entree. Dan was a great waiter and our water glasses never went unfilled which is always appreciated. Can't wait until we go again

Fair and honest review. Not Black Friendly. We had reservations for 5:30 and we were on time. A pair sat down at the same time as us and were served first. That wasn’t a big deal until we didn’t get served for about 10 minutes after that. We ordered two drinks between us. The drinks came out about 10 minutes later. They were actually good. We then observed a Dad and son come in that sat next to us and before they could even sit down good they were immediately taking their orders. Our appetizers came out slow and not at the same time. The salad was over garlicky and the waiter Did take it off our bill. My wife had the short ribs and it was ok but seemed not fresh but sous vide. I had the Airline Chicken and the sweet potatoes and goat cheese was very good although the chicken portion was quite small and without flavor. Again when we were served our meals did not come out at the same time. Before anyone says we were probably rif-raf, we are both very educated and were dressed better than most. Yes we were the only blacks there for an hour and a half. In conclusion, the food was mediocre and the segregated service we endured was not appreciated and we will not be going back.

** Now open Mondays**This place is AWESOME! The food is exceptional, staff is very friendly and helpful. An intimate dining experience. The Blueberry Cobbler infused Cheesecake with White Chocolate is heavenly. Brushetta is divine, and the Crab stuffed mushrooms are a must try!

We just had dinner here tonight and this was my first bad experience at Plat 8. We've been eating here for years and I have never had a bad experience here until now. I ordered the shrimp and steak tip pasta and it was so salty and drenched in sauce. I could barely eat it and left more than half of it. What a disappointment for getting a babysitter and rarely going out. I'm sure you're probably asking why I didn't say anything. Well the Mr thinks that complaining causes drama but I'm regretting a $40 an entree that I barely ate. They REALLY need to work on their new menu and get their ORIGINAL chef back!!
