Went to Ocean Garden buffet for dinner and while the food had decent flavor everything I ate was overcooked and dry. I tried a few different chicken dishes and they all had the consistency of chicken jerky. Wait staff was attentive and friendly enough but unfortunately I won’t be back. The buffet with a drink was reasonable at $17.22 per person.
No healthy vegetarian options. Sushi was lacking and every roll had crab in it which I do not eat. Way over priced. The spring roll had meat in it and was not labeled as such. Good thing I looked before eating it. Food was dog food. By far the worst Chinese buffet ever. Skip this and go to Hong Kong one on Byrne st. They are cheaper and their sushi is better.
I really don't understand these bad reviews?? While I haven't had the sushi, I've had everything else that they serve. This place is a gift from God himself! I've been going here for years and every time is a different religious experience. Bringing me closer to true Nirvana each time. The staff is just so kind, wonderful and very helpful, and I have no words for the food. It brings me to literal tears. Mostly from being full.
Service was solid even though all of the servers barely know English. That is about the only redeeming aspect of this restaurant. The food is subpar at best, with many dishes being clearly left out for a long time. The gravy, for instance, had a thick, solid film over it. The rest of the food is typically greasy or just low quality. I think the only food I personally enjoyed here were the pork egg rolls. Overall, would definitely not come back here.
came here for lunch today. some of the food items were cold, the crab ragoons were basically just cream cheese no crab?? also there was no coconut shrimp which was a disappointment. the waitress was excellent. i tried to add a tip on my card and the lady at the desk basically didn’t understand what i was trying to do, yea i know i should’ve had cash on me just in case but most restaurants u can add a tip with ur card??? the fried sushi was amazing and may be the only reason to come back fr
This place is solid. Depending on what you like there's something for everyone. This was butter shrimp and stir fry clams and they're amazing.
Do not eat sushi at this place! My son got Vibriosis Cholera from eating here. Bloody stools, abdominal pain. It was found through. a blood test and stool sample. He is now on heavy doses of antibiotics. Health Department is now checking them out. They have to, because of his test results. Doctor had to report it to the Health Dept. This is a third world country disease! Consumer Beware! They don't even deserve one star!, and DO NOT EAT THE SUSHI!! Let alone anything else!!
Always a great place to eat Chinese food. Buffet is large and there is alot to choose from. Very Clean environment. I've been eating there almost 20 years we feel like family there.
Great decor, friendly staff. The food is so so. Some items did not smell or taste fresh while others were absolutely delicious. I was expecting a bit more meat and seafood selections.
This is one of the best Chinese buffets I have been to. Very big fancy restaurant and everything is available. Awesome service as well!
