Greeter was polite and happy to see us. Only 4 tables in the place and service was so so slow. Food was greasy. Seafood was over cooked and over rated. Big price for a small amount of food. 63 dollar's for dinner and is was not worth it. Would have been better of going to a Chinese buffet. At least you get what you pay for and leave satisfied. McDonald's would have been a better choice. These prices and service will not make it in Toledo. Good luck. We will not be back. By the way your staff could use some work as well.
Edit: Got Diarrhea afterwards, and person of my party who went also was throwing up.BAD AFTER EFFECTS.Got the forsome meal and ima give this place a B- / 4 star.The lobster tails were rubbery, hard to peel off the shell.Comparing this place to Boilshack; Boilshack is better.The extra crab legs is great.The extra pound of shrimp is great.But the big meal from boilshack you get more diversity, clams, green muscles and i like the king crab more.As for space you can tell it was an old applebees. They still have the old applebee chairs and decorations in the bathroom.The tables and such WAY BETTER than boilshack. More room to eat.The pan they bring out for your meal the foursome or the 6 person one. Id say stupidly bougie and it makes your arms tired deshelling above it. Having your arms always upward deshelling is just tiring after awhile.Boilshack wins with that.All in all; this place is more expensive, and bit more food.But id rather want more diversity like boilshack. I dont like they force gratitude into the check but thats normal now of days.Would I go back? Yes, but not for awhile. My wallet hurts enough.
The food was very good. The prices wasn’t to bad. Seafood is expensive everywhere but the menu had decent prices. The garlic noodles is a MUST try. Very Good!?? They are only $5.
Food was horrible , management was rude and not polite in any way. I was mainly disappointed in the food.
Great place to get a crab boil, select sauce and customize spiciness. Don't like cajun? They've got lemon pepper, garlic, or none at all. Sides add what you like (rice, sausage, corn) Our meal today was fantastic and quick both times we ordered.
I hate being one to write reviews but when something is this bad I feel it’s necessary. The manager of this restaurant is extremely disrespectful! The whole restaurant watched as she yelled at one of the waitresses who had made a SIMPLE mistake. I believe Mekhia was our waitress who was being yelled at. You could visibly tell that she was upset and I’m sure felt embarrassed. There’s absolutely no reason any manager should treat their employees this poorly. I only gave two stars because she was a good waitress and the food came out quickly. I won’t be returning!
We enjoyed our first visit on a Sunday evening. We were immediately greeted and seated. Our server was very attentive. The food was delicious. We started with two appetizers, the mac & cheese bits and seafood bread. The bread was really good. My husband had shrimp fried rice. I had the B combo, crab legs, mussels and shrimp with garlic butter and Cajun spices. Everything was absolutely delicious. We will be going back and highly recommend.
Service was ok. Menu was disappointing. Not much variety of seafood. No individual combo meals. Shrimp was ok nothing special. Onion rings were terrible. Probably won't go back.
Our first seafood boil experience and we definitely were not disappointed! Our waitress was great and the food was sooo good. My husband who doesn’t like seafood says that we will be definitely be going back and can’t stop talking about it! We got the shrimp, crab, and mussel combo with the millions sauce -medium heat. Deserving of all 5 stars ?
Love the food been here a few times but today I went with my children and our waitress had the worse attitude and customer service I have ever received. First off she was very very inpatient everyone know kids take awhile to make their minds up on what to eat . I only had one old enough to order food and she was rolling her eyes and very very impatient with me child. Then she threw out straws on the table I was ready to walk out then but my kid loves their food so I stayed for them. Then my kid wanted a refill which we never received. She kept coming by our table looking at us like we were taking forever to leave as if she was rushing us to eat. I never had received bad service here until today. She did not greet us . I have never in my life not left a tip until today. I only gave 1star because of the good food
