This is a very nice little spot downtown to eat and hang out. There's a bar plus plenty of seating across several rooms. Every time I've been here the service has been friendly and helpful. The food has been wonderful. And the atmosphere is nice. They also have a Sunday brunch that is really good - an open buffet with all sorts of breakfast and lunch offerings. During the warmer months, the outdoor seating area offers a casual way to enjoy the nice weather and any events that might be taking place downtown. I really like this place. Big ? from me.
Fantastic Sunday Brunch. We stopped en route to Chicago when we realized we wouldn't make it to the city in time for any of the swanky brunches there -- and we're so glad we did. Laid back neighborhood pub where the locals eat. Amazing buffet spread -- everything freshly made and delicious with special, unique selections that cater to all types of dietary preferences/needs. The outdoor seating was delightful and along with the friendly wait staff added to the experience. We'd definitely forego the swanky big-city places for this hidden gem any time.

All my daughter wanted when she came home for Xmas was a Brunch date with me at Manhattan’s when I tell you that was the WORST experience I have ever had in my entire life!!! DJ was the server and he was pathetic, seated us in a spot that we got bumped by people in three different areas!!!! Hated it, and they made our Mimosas with Verdi wine NOT champagne!!! I will never go back again!!!!!!!?
Fabulous brunch traditional brunch items, but the service, taste and quality of food is far above average. I also appreciate the fact that the diners aren’t able to touch buffet.
Honestly this has been bothering me for a while so I decided to share this experience to prevent it for anyone else. We decided to throw a wedding shower in one of their rooms for rent. The room was musty, outdated, and smelled like old, stale cigarettes. The food was horrible. Cold sandwiches just thrown on a plate. Spring mix just thrown in a bowl with nothing else and called it a salad… all around just not good at all. For a couple trays of cold sandwiches, pasta salad, a bowl of old fruit, a bowl of wilted spring mix, old tasting vegetables, and a couple trays of just okay dessert cost us EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLARS. I wish I was making that up. Our bill came out to $1200. We were totally taken advantage of. The servers barely did anything and gratuity was already on the bill for $100 each. They based the gratuity on the entire bill which makes no sense. The servers weren’t serving us. They brought the trays out… I still can’t believe this… don’t book any events through them. Go somewhere that’s going to give you what you paid for or charge you appropriately for what you get. I wish we did more research into this and that was our fault but they should honestly be ashamed of themselves.
I love the atmosphere, and down town setting. My wife and I were impressed with the Drink menu( we had the Mule's) We had the Purogis which maybe the best appetizer I've ever had. The Fried Chicken Sandwich, and the Cheesestake with fries were large portions, and the little details that made the meal that much better. Can't wait to go back, thanks!
