There is something seriously wrong with their phone. I was hung up on twice. I called a total of 18 times. I understand a busy signal a few times but I waited between calls to call back. When speaking with someone finally it was extremely difficult to understand them... It was not my phone. Calling back after returning home with the pizza with a complaint, same thing happened. I was told since I was 10 mins late picking up my pizza they couldn't assure good quality control. So I guess they don't recommend you driving home and serving it to your family or having it the next day. Very disappointing.
One of Toledo's best "local" pizza parlors. ( when they expanded, not sure all have same recipes, this is the original on Monroe st.) That beeing said, I love their classic thin crust pizzas. It's been awhile but, I also recall them having excellent pasta too. Papa Joe's bar is part of JoJo's too & is one of the most friendly, happy bars in T-Town!
Even tho my order for my pizza was wrong it still was pretty good, I really liked the tomato bread and the salad is definitely FRESH!
Monday and Wednesday half off pizza, we had spaghetti and chicken parm, best food here is the pizza, lots of choices though, even Greek food, imagine that, an Italian place selling greek...seems wrong...lol

Bartender was very good. Right on it. She was very overwhelmed. Owner came in, didn't offer her any help. He wouldn't even answer the phone. Just one more thing the bartender had to do. Waited an extra half hour for my pizza. Got a beer...2.75 for a bud light draft, small glass. Finally got my pizza home, very very disappointed. Even though she said it just came out of the oven, my pizza was cold by the time I got home. 2 miles away?. Didn't like the taste at all. Bread was good. Never going back.
This is Dennis's wife, Donna. Been going there since i was a little girl & my Mama & Step-Dad took my brother, my sister & i there. I fell in love with Jo-Jo's from the 1st! The atmosphere, the JUKEBOX, (lol) & most importantly, The Food! Its absolutely DIVINE! I would Brave the fires of Hell to have their food!
The pizza I love! A Toledo staple. The atmosphere is mid century and cozy. Nice large framed black and white photos of the original family rich in Italian culture. Get a pitcher of jojo's ale. Get the round Goodfellas table and enjoy your favorite people here at Jojo's. Btw: the present owner can talk beer can collecting. I'll take the 007 please!
